Leave It to Beaver Reviews
Not as good as the original show the original show is better than this movie. I rather watch the original 온라인카지노추천 show. It's okay to watch to pass the time.
Regular, quase fraco...
The movie was not that bad, it's getting four stars due to the tribute by having some of the original characters appear in the movies.
This movie is a insult to the 1960s version with no charm to it. No one needs a stupid modern day remake.
There was no reason to revisit this forgettable series.
A modernized take on the classic 온라인카지노추천 show, 'Leave it to Beaver' is a painfully dull family film that leaves the Cleaver family completely forgettable.
Not as good as the old 온라인카지노추천 show, but gets a passing grade for trying to update the Beaver universe. It does have humorous moments with a moral ending.
I still remember being very young and watching Leave It To Beaver reruns with my dad. I know the critics bashed it, but I didn't think it was that bad.
This film adaptation basically just takes the original Leave It To Beaver and slaps some 90's cheese onto it. It's in many ways not like the original show, but at the same time, should it? The 50's and 90's are radically different from each other, but its debatable. They could've at least got the ages right with the brothers, the kid who plays Beaver is too puny and Wally's like 12 while the original was an older teenager in the show, or perhaps that's me picking on it more than I should, being somewhat a fan of the original show. Otherwise, I can't say I had a reason to expect much to begin with. It's 90's cheese, cliche, and just plain silly, but it's quite likeable for some unknown reason, more likeable than it should be considering that the movie misses its mark on many levels. Does it succeed in adapting the show? Barely. Is it entertaining otherwise? As far as cliche 90's family movies go, yes.
this is one ugly film. we had a pointless show, now we have a pointless movie. i dont know why they made a movie about this old T.V. show. the storyline revolves around Beaver's bike being stolen. i mean, COME ON!!!
"SPOILER REVIEW" Unfortunately i have never watched the show and i don't think will ever watch it. The reason is because i loved this movie as a kid and to be honest... i STILL do. So i don't want to ruin the effect it has on me. Now obviously its a kids movie released in the 90's so not everyone will like it. I laughed a lot in this movie! Especially when the dad, Ward, has a daydream about Beaver playing football. I thought Christopher MacDonald was really good in this movie. Now i thought everyone else was good, but two people really stood out to me. That is Adam Zolotin as Eddie and Cameron Finely as Theodore "Beaver". Adam Zolotin was H-I-L-A-R-I-O-U-S!!!!!!! He was great in this movie. Every time he talks with that weird tone it cracks me up! It was also because the character itself was funny. Cameron Finely was cute and adorable. The character reminded me exactly of how i was a kid (Reminder, i have not seen the show so i don't know if he's different in the show). He also had some funny moments like when he was practicing and playing football. In my opinion, Leave it to Beaver is funny, cute, family friendly, and has heart. Though some people may not like this movie, it will forever be my favorite childhood movie.
