Legends of the Fall Reviews
Man, terrific movie. One my all time faves. Great story line, acting, music. Watch it.
Better late than never on my review. This movie is a Legend!!
One of the most emotionally charged and well written movies ever made. Incredible cast with incredible performances. Cinematography, directing, casting… one of the best movies ever made
Wonderfully directed by Zwick. Great performances and cinematography.
A Western for the thinking person. A great story. Amazing acting. A Romance on the wild side. Spellbinding!
If you have not seen this movie, treat yourself!
I put this movie into the top 25 ever. The book is an american classic, so the movie follows the same path on the plot, which I loved. Superb acting by all actors involved in it. About photography, the takes are breathtaking; you just cannot do better than this. The critics buried this movie but I don't care, I'm just a viewer that has his own rules for deciding which movie is good and which one is not. This is a great movie.
One of the best movies I have seen! I rarely watch any movie more than once but I just finished watching this for the fifth time! The acting is superb as is the story line. Maybe it’s because I can related to it so much but this movie is one of the best ever!
It was an OK movie, kind of soapy but decent storyline. Brad Pitt is amazing and really stands out. Anthony Hopkins is wasted in this role. I’ll never watch it again, but I’m not mad I did
It was a good and high quality movie. It was sad towards the end. It's a must watch.
at first glance it seems like a good movie that has potential to become and emotional epic that will stay with you forever, however just when the film starts to get good it immediately turns into a long and boring westerns chick flick that has Brad Pitt's character go through a really weird character arc and then resolves it by the middle of the movie and then keeps going for like another 40 minutes. don't waste your time, also brad pitt's hair is so bad in this movie.
Very emotional movie. It made me very sad. 😭
I watched this when I was a little kid and I couldn't remember anything but the bear this movie stuck with me, for years I tried to find out what movie it was so glad I finally found it, loved it
I remember waking through Blockbuster with my girlfriend at the time, we would each try to pick out a movie we liked that the other hadn't seen yet. I did something I'm not proud of & which I came clean about the next time we were at Blockbuster doing the same thing. I lied to her & told her I had seen Legends of the Fall already so that she wouldn't pick it out. I felt horrible & asked if she wanted to get it & that she could pick out both movies this next time we were there. Anyways, I was blown away by this film. I am not embarrassed to say, it's one of only 2 movies that have made me get teary eyed, Simon Birch is the other one btw. So, I would just like to thank you Shannon, for picking this one out, & once again I am sorry for the jerk I was. So, moral of the story is, don't lie to your significant other because you'll regret it later, & watch Legends of the Fall if you haven't already.
Great movie!! With superb acting and Fabulous scenery 👍
I've seen this film so many times. It's a melancholy melodrama with great performances and it will always hold a place in my heart.
Just another 5 star flick from 1994. The best year for movies ever made! This is truly a classic that has only gotten better with age.
A must-see! A cult movie! The cast, the acting, the screenplay - everything so impactful, memorable, staying with you forever. I wonder why it wasn't Brad Pitt who fought the bear after more than 20 years in the 2015 Revenant - bears can live 25 years in the wild after all ;)
One of my favourite movies of all time. Beautiful scenery, amazing acting from all actors, great cast. Unfairly treated by the Oscar academy for almost no nominations that year when the best picture was Forrest Gump 😳. Nominations for Brad Pitt, Anthony Hopkins and Julia Ormond totally missed. Definitely a must-see!
Epic movie. Can watch it over and over.
