Its tough for a Movie to poke fun at society and pull it off. This movie plays with the relationship between step parents and step kids, what is love and what are you willing to do for those you love. Is it unconditional love for some one else's kid? Are they your kid now? Making this a horror comedy is pure gold. Brilliant film makers here making us think!

New stepdad Gary (Adam Scott) wrestles with connecting with his wife's (Evangeline Lilly) son. It gets even harder when he realizes the quiet young lad is the son of Satan. Comedy isn't my thing, really. For whatever it's worth I didn't find this very humorous. I did enjoy the dad therapy group but it doesn't spoof Omen as well as Shaun of the Dead did Night of the Living Dead. It was my first time seeing Brad Williams, who has a small part. I've since seen some of his reels and find him hilarious.

I've never written a movie review before; this movie, however, deserves it. It's laugh-out-loud funny and a true gem. I was not expecting it. Horror/comedy can be hard to pull off. No, it's not a gore-fest or slasher pic; it's a comedic take on The Omen. FYI.
