What to Know

Critics Consensus

Trying too hard to be clever in a Pulp Fiction kind of way, this film succumbs to a convoluted plot, overly stylized characters, and dizzying set design.

Rob A Josh Hartnett spent way too much time in a bath towel, and Ben Kingsley's camped-up performance was beneath him, but Lucy Liu was great and the plot was clever. Director Paul McGuigan makes good use of legends Bruce Willis and Morgan Freeman; at the end of the day what we have here is a fun popcorn flick to kick back to. Great ending btw. Rated 3 out of 5 stars 04/26/25 Full Review Whistlerworld S Great dialogue and characters Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/10/25 Full Review Marcus K Fantastic movie. Excellent ending. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/23/25 Full Review G M It's good! it's good!! Rated 4 out of 5 stars 03/01/25 Full Review Nurudeen Y Love everything about this movie. The cast, acting, dialogue, soundtrack and aesthetic and entire vibe. Something magical was put together here and Rotten Tomatoes is so wrong on this one. This movie is a forever classic. Definitely a must-see. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 03/01/25 Full Review Dan D As a revenge movie, it's fine. But how does he get in the car to kill the cop? That's doesn't make sense. Must have been lying in wait for a long time... Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 02/11/25 Full Review Read all reviews
