Interesting plot with Neeson as an aging hit man with a heart. As usual, he does a great job, along with Pearce.

I'm a huge fan of both Liam Neeson action movies, and of director Martin Campbell's movies. I was excited to see these two team up. I find it interesting that so much of the marketing seems to think the main hook of the movie is Liam Neeson having to do action while suffering with memory problems. Honestly, if you wanted that premise, go with Neeson's movie "Unknown". This movie is actually more about a duel between Guy Pearce as strait-laced cop and Liam Neeson acting as a vigilante. The titular memory angle plays very little into the story. The question becomes, what makes this movie stand out from other Neeson projects? The action is helmed pretty well, especially compared to "Taken 3" and other Neeson movies. Liam's character of Alex Lewis is more brutal and deadly, and it is nice to have Liam play a character that acknowledges his age. The film altogther is acted and shot well. It is just the story and pacing where it falls short. So much of the story feels repetitive. Neeson will kill someone, Pearce will come and interrogate the wife. Lather rinse and repeat three times. The movie spends too much time on the type of stuff tighter movies and crime shows skip over. Stuff like Pearce talking to his superiors or getting a search warrant or interrogating a suspect a second time, all could have been cut without losing a thing. The movie also kind of just pitters out without any satisfactory conclusion. Sadly, "Memory" will likely soon be forgotten.

Do not watch this film. It's one of the most boring films I have ever watched. Truly awful, not even the star studded cast could pull it off.

This is a baaaad film. Really has no direction or proper explanation for anything. I did fall asleep after 45 minutes, but I very much doubt anything I missed would've changed my mind.

Ahhhh. Bad movie but somehow can keep you watching which is probably the only merit. Lineal. Fabricated characters to make look Liam Neeson look tough. Honestly it lacks sense and purpose.

Unless you are a really keen Liam fan I'd give it a miss. The plot is wafer thin and predictable, some of the acting poor and the title might as well been referencing better films, of which there are many, that Liam Neeson has appeared in.

Two stories which eventually combine – a hitman looking at retirement who won’t cross a moral line on his last job and the FBI taking down a Mexican child abuse ring. There’s nothing which truly stands out about the film, but its serviceable entertainment with its slow pace and good acting from an older cast of clichéd characters. The tough subject matters are dealt with maturely and the action and special effects are ok, but there’s no real suspense or surprises and it stumbles rather than soars through its final act.

Three separate women in this film were told to lock the door and not open it for anyone (while the men go fight it out?) I was so aware of the script as the actors performed it. The acting and sets make the film look like it might be good if you just glaze your brain over while the plot sprawls all over it. Just random scenes with characters that added nothing but time. Also, I’m confused about why a car exploded inside a car park and was discovered by police on the side of a road nowhere near a building. Maybe the confusion is my problem. I’ll just go lock myself in a bathroom and not come out till it’s all over.

Worth a watch! Good acting, great storyline and a fab ending. I would recommend.

It's a fairly average action flick, but you know going into this if you're a fan of Neeson doing this kind of thing or not. If you are, it's one of his better outings doing this and has a cool gimmick. If you're not, just simply stay away.

Why she was cast in this role when there are so many better actors is beyond me. The plot isn't very interesting and seems like something I've seen a hundred times already. Only watch this movie if you have nothing better to do.

This is a darkish drama that explores tough stuff. Heartbreakinly beautiful! Its about abuse, addictions, families, trauma, dementia, love, mothers, daughters and sisters. So much! All of the acting is superb!I especially loved Jessica Chastains and Merrit Weavers performances. I did not care for the ending.

Sold movie, Liam is not indestructible in this one. Nice acting and good ending. Recommended.
