Synopsis
When Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans, those who went to the Superdome for shelter were forbidden from bringing their pets. The animals that were left behind were rescued by animal services who, declaring them abandoned, promptly put them up for adoption to new owners. This film explores the difficulties hurricane victims encountered when attempting to reclaim their pets and the reluctance of the families who adopted these animals to give them up to their original owners.
