Prolly to late to write this review, but the characters in this movie especially Julia Roberts is EVIL. LOL. Like how can you do that to another person? Her acting is so good that I disliked her after the film bec she is that effective. I personally do not like this movie bec of the plot and how the characters played out, but kudos to the cast for doing a job well done. You traumatized me into watching romantic like movies from the past. Why, just why?

Absolutely brilliant film, I’ve seen many romantic comedies but found that nothing can compare to this one. My best friends wedding has to be one of my all time favourites. A perfect mix of comedy, romance and drama. I thought Julia Roberts was simply fantastic in this movie, definitely one of her best!

Bad ending. I was rooting for Jules bru. Kimmy didn't deserve that man. Jules is much stronger than me.

From the tittle, i was expecting the movie to go in completely different way…. the ending it's surprising, but the fact that they put an ideia in our minds thought the hole movie, about who has ending up with who, and then changed it all in the last 20 minutes, it's really weird. it's not a bad movie, if you're goin to watch it, just be prepared to see a hole new perspective about relationships and how real life works… movies should be about things we do not have, for us, watchers, to comfort ourselves in this fantasyland that rom-coms usually happen.

Confusing characters throughout. Julia Roberts is actually the rom com villain in this and does no redeeming thing at any point.

Um filme muito bom para passar o tempo, com alguns clichês é claro, muito difícil uma comédia/romântica desse tipo não ter, um longa com à cara da "sessão da tarde ", mas dentre os filmes do gênero se destaca pela trama e edição bem feitas. Um destaque maior nesse filme é a atriz Julia Roberts, que está fantástica.

This film is a good example why I hate Julia Roberts rom coms

I am astounded by the positive reviews. This movie is beyond horrible! The insane, sociopathic & unethical behavior of Julia Roberts in trying to break up the main characters who obviously love each other is beyond the pale. This movie is actually a commentary on what society has degenerated into--doing anything & everything to destroy the true meaning of marriage--true love between a man and woman. My daughter who loves Rom-Coms was disgusted and wanted to turn it off. We used it as an opportunity to point out how wrong everything is in the plot and how subversive Hollywood is in distorting and destroying Truth. Spoiler alert: thankfully, despite it all, True Love wins.

Por muitos anos foi meu filme favorito, assim como I Say a Little Prayer está em minha listinha de favoritas. Sei muitas frases do filme de cabeça. O contexto do filme hoje em dia já nem é mais tão bem aceito. (já ouvi muita crítica a respeito) Porém sempre será uma história de amor complexa que acho extremamente interessante. Por que? Enfim - questão de afinidade não se explica. A trama tem muito humor, tem descoberta e luta pelo amor, relacionamento entre amigos, conflitos, mais humor, indiferença, loucuras. Uma loucura inexplicável e complexa. Por isso gosto. Afinal, o mundo tente ao caos, não é mesmo?
