I watched it because of Karen Gillan, but she's barely in it. Interesting premise but weak execution. Almost an extended twilight zone episode. Surprisingly blasé about suicide,

Foresaw uneventful on a visually mediated pace with a humbly strained chemistry that’s purposefully formulated towards the main hook regarding the conceptual fork of “will they, won’t they”, which predictably evaluate their personal meaning of life as enigmatically tested. (B-)

An unexpected gem. Really moving.

Amazing performances and it was oddly heart-warming. I couldn't take my eyes off the screen.

Was a good concept. But the arguing was way to much between the 2. It was cheesy.

The ending was infuriating.

Katie Parker and Rahul Kohli have a fantastic chemistry in a road-trip romantic dramedy masquerading as a sci-fi flick. You can see the finish coming from miles away and there aren't a lot of laughs or answers. It isn't sci-fi hardly at all despite some flashes (literally) on the screen on occasion. This is supposedly about the afterlife, but it is uneven and doesn't connect to the ideas that we are introduced in the first act. Talented acting in an average film! Final Score: 5/10

Stirring little indie that packs some emotional wallop with it's sympathetic underlying theme.

Good road trip type of movie, but that's not why I picked to watch it. Was someone's sick joke to label this in any way a sci fi movie. Went in thinking it would be something neat, ended up being just a typical regular movie though. They needed to delve way deeper into the whole ghost premise of the movie. Sadly they did not.

I went in thinking it was one kind of movie. But I thoroughly enjoyed what it actually was.

Beautiful movie - I will be purchasing. Note, the movie is much more existential drama than sci-fi, thought it does have some sci-fi components. I loved it so much.

Strange but good combination of sci fi and drama as these 2 strangers travel cross country to essentially kill themselves to become part of a scientist's program that lets them become ghosts. There's a thread of human resilience and depth as they find meaning in each other.

Although this movie is well made, i did not like the final result of its plot. Almost any viewer start watching this movie because he or she wants to see some kind of representation about death, but in order to put some happy and romantic ending, the main cause of the mvie gets wasted.

Supernatural Drama Ponders Life's Meaning on Road Trip Toward Death

Five minutes. I made it FIVE MINUTES.

There are some good things about this movie. The developing relationship between the 2 main characters seems realistic and is good to see. However…Driving cross-country from NY to SF in 5 days can be done, but, it is a slog and if you have to do it in 5 days then you have to get after it. They said this in the movie, but they didn't ever act like it was the case. And if you don't act like it, you aren't doing it. The guy shows up to the car rental place without a drivers license. If you don't have a driver's license, then the car rental option wouldn't be available to you, would it? So you would take the plane option, wouldn't you? But if you did that the characters would never meet, so you had to show up at the car rental without a driver's license, I guess. They hit something while driving on a dirt road. If you're driving cross-country in 5 days you should never be on a dirt road. They showed zero concern for what they hit. What they hit would definitely cause damage to the vehicle, but not the type of damage the vehicle suffered in the movie. Then they fixed the vehicle without the proper tools. Oh, sure. Why not just have the necessary tools, which are commonly carried in vehicles, be available? So they would be forced to fix the vehicle in the unbelievable manner in which they did? Which helped the movie in what way? While driving cross-country one of the characters looks up a parent of the other, said parent just happens to be nearby so they can meet them. Oh yes, you are in the middle of a cross-country trip, one character decides on a whim to look up the location of the other's parent, and they are, COINCIDENTALLY, a short drive away. The emotions present during any meeting with relatives seemed way off to me. Finally they arrive in SF to attempt their voyage into the afterlife. The character without a driver's license now produces one when asked for ID. But, why would a company in the emerging stages of making connections to the afterlife kill healthy people, so that they have someone to come back from beyond. Granted, these two didn't want to live, but wouldn't it be easier to just find people who are dying in the near future anyway? Anyway, one of the characters takes a few steps into the great beyond, has some interactions, but the interaction she doesn't have is with her late mother, who had seemingly been on the verge of appearing throughout the movie. The one person you wanted to see, who seemed to want to see you, and no connection? Wanted to like this movie more, but I kept getting kicked out of the experience by poor choices in the script.

Low-keyish, somewhat emo story. This is for people who genuinely have the curiosity and patience to look at and listen to someone else's thousands of travel photos, videos and experiences. The humor and wanting to know what happens at the destination kept me engaged.

Thought it was to be scary or or have horror but it was neither. It was oddball road trip movie with a heavy emphasis on the two leads. Initially, you don't like either character but get to understand them and accept them as the story unfolds. Katie Parker and Rahul Kohli, as the two main actors, keep your focus throughout.
