Ocean's Twelve Reviews
This sequel was terrible it had nothing that made the first one great no suspense and lack of character development. At times felt like a romance film than an action thriller. Overall, terrible sequel
Sayang oras.
Director Steven S. nails it with a proper sequel to his remake of the classic, Ocean’s Eleven. His unique style of filmmaking is perfect for the heist/thriller/caper genres, it’s almost hard to watch other similar films due to the lack of his masterful style. I’d have to honestly say that this one is my favorite out of the original trilogy for sure. Slick cinematography, smooth editing and gorgeous costume designs and sets make this a heist masterpiece. Did I mention Julia Roberts plays herself in this one for a bit as well?
Funniest movie...if you are smart enough to get the humor. Love this movie.
Bom também, bem divertidinho, ótimo para passar o tempo, cinema por excelência.
Easily the worst movie of all time. Not just the worst heist movie. The worst movie, period.
Honestly? The worst heist movie I’ve seen on a while. Some parts are fun, like Julia Roberts playing herself, and the beginning is alright. But the end is anticlimactic, half the characters aren’t even used, there isn’t some big project that they prepare for, just a small bit at the end. Half the movie is just them messing around and it doesn’t feel like anything is really happening. The French theif’s heist is short and unrealistic and the whole movie os just a mess
I think this movie is absolutely not deserving of the low critical rating. Is it as good as the first? Absolutely not, but this is about as good as ensemble comedy filmmaking can get.
I understand where the low rating comes from; coming off of a movie where every single frame plays a key role to a love story, mixed with a heist, mixed with a Tarantino-like story telling, it can be really jarring and confusing at times. Though, when you know how it all ends and re-watch, that's when the appreciation really sets in. This one is definitely the middle child of the Oceans series, and it shows, but I still love it as much as I do 11 and 13.
phoned-in action bs but better than some
Another great caper flick. Allowed to go a little deeper in seeing the pieces outside of their part of the heist is rewarding. The villain and the new lady are wonderful additions.
A fun movie but not better than the original. Still a good watch.
The movie was funny and overall has a more interesting plot, but there are still some really stupid things here.
Way better than the first in every way. sure there are some parts of the movie that were confusing and hard to get into, this movie is saved by great chemistry and likeable characters.
A handsome ensemble cast and their performances make this 2004 heist film entertaining enough, the lines are humorous, with music that matches it. Steven Soderbergh shot this film stylishly, though I think the story could be better. Of course, the fact that this is a story about stealing is an issue as well.
This movie was not very good. The script, it felt like, there were like three then being mashed together like some weird Tarantino movie.
"Ocean's Twelve" waltzes onto the screen with the same suave swagger that made its predecessor a hit, but this time, the charm feels a bit more forced. The ensemble cast, led by George Clooney and Brad Pitt, still oozes charisma, yet the plot seems to have taken a detour through a maze of convoluted twists. While the heist premise is thrilling, the execution leaves you scratching your head more than applauding. The addition of Catherine Zeta-Jones injects a dose of sizzling tension, but it sometimes feels like she stumbled into the wrong movie. Director Steven Soderbergh maintains his stylish visuals, but the narrative acrobatics become a double-edged sword, leaving the audience dizzy at times. The witty banter and camaraderie save the day, rescuing the film from drowning in its own complexity. "Ocean's Twelve" might not match the brilliance of its predecessor, but it's still an enjoyable caper, albeit with a touch of sophomore slump.
Oitava arte dos cinemas deveria ser colocado esse filme.
It doesn't change much from the first, which ends up being a problem since in the end you just feel that your concern for the characters should be null since Oceans is apparently omnipresent, omnipotent and omniconscious.
Complete bore. Boring cast, boring pace, boring plot. You get the picture.
