Tara McNamara Common Sense Media This cautionary tale is like the mirror image of A Star Is Born, but not nearly as good—though the outcome of Astor's romance with a rocker twice her age is, unfortunately, more realistic. May 14, 2025 Full Review Bill Cooper Spectrum Culture Foe’s first feature is decent, but her directorial missteps hold it back and, at times, even contradict the film’s timely, worthwhile message. May 6, 2025 Full Review Todd Jorgenson Cinemalogue With characters who conveniently lack common sense, this contrived relationship drama plays a familiar tune. May 2, 2025 Full Review Mark Dujsik Mark Reviews Movies Nothing about Off the Record feels especially convincing... Rated: 1.5/4 May 2, 2025 Full Review Matt Hambidge FandomWire Off the Record is a complete mess. A good setup coupled with important and worthwhile themes only get you so far. And that's where any goodwill begins and ends. Rated: 2/10 Apr 30, 2025 Full Review Brian Orndorf Blu-ray.com Foe never bores with the picture, landing a few potent moments of oddity as it pursues a great point about the predatory ways of males.
