Oldboy Reviews
great movie but ending is......ick
I was taken way far aback with this one but my god what a master class in filmmaking and payoff that leaves you revolted and amazed.
classic movie still holds up to this day one of my favorite Korean films of all time and it was good to see it in the movie theater cuz the last time I seen this movie was on 온라인카지노추천 back in the day when I was in high school
If you’re less than an hour away from a showing and you have never seen? GO
One of the best films ever made! Great story, great cinematography, great acting, great editing, great sound design. Great great great!
Wholly original, visually stunning and masterfully acted and directed!
Oldboy is an amazing film. So well acted and exceptionally directed!! This was an amazing opportunity, the chance to see and experience it on the big screen. Although the subject matter may hit some as very sensitive and triggering, it is explored in a brilliant way!
This film was excellent from start to finish. The acting, the plot, the cinematography, all top notch. I have no negative critiques of this film. It made me want to see other films by this director
Went into the movie blind. An absolute masterpiece!
Breh… this was crazy! Awesome!
Deep dive into human emotions. Suspenseful with an unexpected twist
I loved this movie. A true masterpiece that no remake can come close to.
One of the most intense and unsettling movies ever made. This makes it amazing.
Greatest begging scene of all time because it was well deserved. Plus, after all the dark twists and turns, it gives us a surprisingly happy ending. One might argue with that assessment, but think about the fact that you can re-watch this film and still enjoy it while witnessing what you already know. You can only pull that off if the ending completes pleasantly. And by pleasantly, our protagonists live life in ignorant bliss as opposed to knowing they each fucked their daughter and father, respectively.
Masterpiece. Cannot describe how phenomenal of an experience it was to see this rereleased on the big screen. Park Chan-Wook is easily one of the greatest directors of the 21st century.
The way it was natural.
