Filme bacaninha, o roteiro é mais ou menos, as cenas de ação são bacaninhas, o elenco é mais ou menos, e quase ninguém ajudou a melhorar o filme só o vilão salvou um pouco o filme, a história é mais ou menos, os personagens sao mais ou menos, mas o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores.

Bom, mas quase uma comédia pastelão, lembra da ação no Caso Eloa, sequestrador sai do avião, ''passeia'' pelo parque e consegue ingressar novamente e decolar com o avião, eita, quanta competência, o protagonista faz o mesmo, e ainda um strike, sozinho, com todos os terroristas, um a uma, não é ruim, mas não envelheceu tão bem assim, cansativo, pouco divertido, tensão fria, boas cenas de ação, mas esquecível e pouco cativante… Passe o tempo, com pouco entusiasmo…

I'm pretty confident that the people rating this film were not alive when this came out. It did damn good in the theaters and was a damn good movie.

Snipes is solid, the action scenes are competent Acting otherwise is subpar but it is worth a watch,just do not expect great and you will not be disappointed

Totally implausible plot, with myriad inaccuracies, from the laughably lax way the FBi is transporting a dangerous terrorist, to the amateurish depiction of aircraft characteristics and air traffic control procedures. Just one of hundreds of examples: The airplane's controls are shown being manipulated by a right arm from the left seat, even though the pilot is dead. Strictly for children and adults with arrested development.

I've had my interest in 90's action films in about a decade ago since I was planning on looking upon those old 90's years ago And I found out recently that Wesley Snipes starred in comedy films before he became an action star. That would have to be Passenger 57. I've heard of him years back when I was a kid even in those films distributed by Warner Bros. John Cutter, played by Wesley Snipes, is an ex cop flying to Los Angeles to start his new job working for the anti-terrorism unit of a major airline. However, Charles Rane known as "The Rane of Terror", played by Bruce Payne, who is an terrorist who is on the flight, too, being transported by the FBI. After Rane's accomplices kill the FBI agents and free him, Cutter realizes the entire flight is in danger. With the help of flight attendant Marti Slayton, Cutter has to capture Rane and free the passengers. I enjoyed this movie even for what it is this is sort of a Die Hard rip-off even though it's taken on the plane even when it's not in the airport. This is a cheesy action film with good fight scenes. The old lady mistaken's Wesley Snipes with Arsenio Hall because you know, she watched The Arsenio Hall Show all the time. It has the sexy Elizabeth Hurley, Tom Sizemore and of course it has the most memorable line that Snipes ever be presented and he quote: "Always bet on black." Of course for what Passenger 57 is, it's enjoyable. Bruce Payne steals the film and the action is good but it's cheesy. It's an enjoyably good cheesy popcorn action flick.

It's an old dated Sunday afternoon film starring Wesley Snipes, you can't ask for more from a 90s film. Nostalgia plays a big role, and is the few plane-action movies that have memorable moments from that decade. Very enjoyable.

The comedy is better than the actions but overall pretty entertaining. A spin-off of US Marshall & McCain die-hard

If you tap the plane on the 57, bloody hell breaks loose.

The epitome of early 90s action films, but probably a little too early for me, as this was not one I had seen more than once or twice before today.
