Pinocchio Reviews
One of the most insane movies made by Disney
When you wish upon a star, all your dreams won't come trye. Only one. Thats the rule.
*Pinocchio* is pure Disney magic—iconic songs, unforgettable characters, and a wave of nostalgia that hits like a warm blanket. The animation still holds up, and the music? Instantly recognizable and oddly comforting. But man, I remembered this being way darker. As a kid, this movie haunted my dreams (Pleasure Island? Terrifying), but watching it now, it’s way more charming than expected. That said, some parts drag—Geppetto wandering around inside a whale isn’t exactly riveting. Still, it’s a Disney classic, perfect for when you’re sick in bed and need a little childhood comfort. Three solid stars.
Timeless classic. You can watch this movie like the first day.
A strong Disney classic all the way.
Nota 10.
The movie is good, but I don't like the scene where Pinocchio was smoking, its a bad example for kids around 4-8 years old, I think this movie should be rated like PG instead of G, for the scenes about smoking that are not appropiated for kids, but I'm crazy about this movie already has 84 years since it arrived here, nice Disney classic.
If you hate this movie---you don't have a heart.
Pinocchio is the best number 1 Disney Movie and is so popular and is absolutely a masterpiece with all the animation, colors and story based on the book the adventures of Pinocchio by Carlo Collodi.
"Pinocchio" is a masterpiece. It is so good that I can't find any faults in. Perfection is notorious in every way: the excellent artwork, palette colors and attention to detail. All of them obey to very high standards. Everything is so well drawn and painted with heart and soul: the sceneries, the characters, the backgrounds, the wonderful details
For a Disney animated film, this was actually kind of dark, but that was worth the risk in the very end.
Welcome to another DPR review. Reviewing one of the best Walt Disney’s pictures ever created. Pinocchio!!!!! Based on a story, a man name Geppetto who wants his puppet Pinocchio to be real and a real boy so he got that wish from the Blue Fairy plus Jimmy Cricket help Pinocchio to be his conscience. Let’s see on the Pros and Cons…. Pros- beautiful animation, great story, excellent voice work and great themes to learn about life. Cons- some may not like the dark themes and pretty much it. Verdict: A+ Another Walt Disney Masterpiece!!!
Walt's best animated film! The soundtrack & voice performance was phenomenal!
An excellent animated film. I don't even mind the elements missing from the original book and the stuff that's been added.
One of the best animated films of all time.
Better than the live action remake. Cute but horrifying at times.
One of my favorite Disney films back in the day.
Seen through my 2024 eyes, it is less compelling than I expected. Still better than the live remake, though Guillermo Del Toro's version shows how exciting the premise can be.
Pinocchio is a true Magnum Opus thanks to an amazing story, astonishing animation (even by today standards), memorable characters and catchy songs. For a film that's very popular it's no wonder it bombed at the box-office, But while many version of this story before and after have been done over and over Disney's version makes you really want to wish upon a star.
"Pinocchio" delivers breathtaking animation and great music, but its overall storyline is boring and bland. The only reason it has become a classic is mainly due to the nostalgia factor and the fact that it has recouped its box office revenue through multiple reissues.
