(ENGLISH) The premise had potential: a pill that gives you superpowers for a few minutes, with unpredictable and explosive effects. What could go wrong? Well, while the answer isn’t a total disaster, it’s not exactly a triumph either. Project Power starts with energy, backed by a strong idea and a solid cast, but it gradually loses steam.
Jamie Foxx and Joseph Gordon-Levitt do what they can, and they’re honestly not bad. The issue lies more with the script, which becomes flat, predictable, and lacks punch as the story unfolds. What initially feels like a fresh take ends up being just another action flick, full of clichés, over-the-top visuals, and cardboard villains.
There are a few redeeming scenes and some interesting commentary on power as a drug or addiction, but it all feels half-baked. The film takes itself too seriously, when maybe it would’ve worked better by embracing the absurdity of its own premise. The pacing doesn’t help either—at times it drags, and eventually you stop caring about what happens to the main characters.
In short: entertaining in parts, with good intentions, but poorly executed. One of those movies that’s fine for a casual watch, but forgettable right after. A missed opportunity, though at least it’s not completely boring.

The story wasn't the best; it really faded away after 30 minutes into the movie. The idea was very dull and lifeless.

Who didn't like this movie? Oh look...it's all white dudes.
It was great. Fantastic pacing. It exceeded my expectations.
Best of all, the characters weren't run of the mill action bullshit stereotypes.
