Carol P I must admit, I had never heard of the Red Dog and have never stepped foot in Oklahoma, but this documentary popped up on Hulu and looked interesting. Luke and his Mom, Kim, let viewers sit in the front seat of their beat up truck and take you on a heartwarming, sad, yet funny road trip through their lives. Kim is the tough, honest star of the story, and she tries so hard to hide her heart, which may be bruised and scarred, but holds tremendous love for the friends that became her family. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 11/18/23 Full Review Audience Member I really enjoyed it. Real people sharing their truth. God bless the broken road... Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/26/23 Full Review Audience Member Four and half stars; rounding up for originality. Excellent story telling, use of animation, and an example of how lives evolve. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 02/07/23 Full Review Audience Member A biographical telling in unwashed honesty about the unconventional lives of young people in the 70's. A journey through the lives of intersecting free spirits that gave no forethought to outcome of their actions. Presented by a talented young musicians/songwriter who chronicles his mother's life in her own words. Documented in interviews where she revealed her beginnings as a underage exotic dancer in a Oklahoma gentleman's club and how the birth of her son caused subtle and the dramatic changes in her lifestyle. A emotional view of a life ...lived. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 01/23/23 Full Review Audience Member I loved this documentary.
