A couple of funny scenes, but ultimately this movie will fade into obscurity in my memory among the endless stream of terrible raunchy 80s comedies. The concepts are much funnier than the movie itself. A lot of the jokes are completely tasteless and rely on offensive stereotypes to even approach comedic effect. John Goodman and Curtis Armstrong give pretty good performances but everyone else is pretty much just annoying.

Perfect 80's movie depicting The Jocks vs. The Nerds - all stereotypes included. An early example of Nerd Power, this movie has a lot of super-iffy scenes and concepts, but remains a fun watch if you keep it in the context of the time.

Very funny Animal House style sophomoric humor. I liked the over the top acting and ridiculous stereotypes. If you like mindless adolescent humor you will love this flick.

This was an entertaining, funny humorous film. It's both good at making you feel sympathy anger and laugh at the same time. Honestly it feels like a sort of slave story in a way where in this case the Nerds are the slaves while the jocks are the owners but mixed with funny humor that would probably make anyone laugh. With that being said great film definitely a memorable 80s film.

"Revenge of the Nerds" has its fair share of funny moments and John Goodman in one of his first roles, its '80s vibe is largely enjoyable, and its anti-bullying message, which culminates in a rousing reappropriation of the word "nerd", is certainly positive, if occasionally a little on the nose. However, it is also full of stereotypes and caricatures, sometimes to the point of racism, and includes several grating scenes of actionable sexual harassment, which is just shrugged off and normalized.

This is definitely a cult classic that is of its time, but can still be enjoyed and laughed at today. This is definitely a great underdog story filled with comedy and fun.

I get the feeling that those who are giving RoN four and five stars were high school/college nerds who never got past the fact that they didn't get revenge on their tormentors and never got laid, and they fondly remember the movie that allowed them to live vicariously. There was a time and a place where this movie was funny, and that time was 40 years ago, and the place was in a nerd's bedroom. I saw this movie back then and was kind of enjoyed it. I watched it the other night and cringed....not just at the sexual situations that most of us have finally realized are embarrassingly wrong, but frankly at the fact that it's not a funny movie, even if you're into dumb humor. It's REALLY dumb. None of the lines are humorous, and the situational humor is less than high school sophomoric. The main message is a good one, and the cast is impressive, but you can't even root for the "good" guys when they're the ones voyeuristically taping naked women and even date raping one of them. Come on folks....unless you're literally Ogre from this movie, you can't honestly think this is still funny.

Though it has its misses, this movie is really funny! A great watch which is not to be taken too seriously.

Even movies that aren't trying to deliver messages are sending them. Revenge of the Nerds is a good underdog story among a slew of similar tales. But the depths to which the movie stoops shows that Nerds are just regular people and, in some ways, they're worse.

Dumb raunchy college comedy movie.

A feel-good hilarious teen comedy that every nerd needs to witness. If you're a nerd, you need to watch this flick. You'll have the time of your life and you'll laugh hysterically.

Revenge of the Nerds uses its short 90 minute run time very effectively. Has good humor that still works today.

This movie is absolutely hilarious. So funny with all the characters interacting. It's funny when it's not and even funnier when it tries. This is a feel good film that makes me smile. Good film, check it out.

Revenge of the Nerds is a comedy classic. As well as being hilarious and laugh out loud, it has a timeless and endearing message that should be heard around the world. That message is that nerds are the best and jocks can suck it. It also shows us that we have to stand up for ourselves and others who are being put down or kicked around or don't have it fair. My favorite character was booger. I was surprised at how much boob and bush I saw. It was great, I loved it. Definitely watch this 80's comedy classic. Over and over again.
