Comedy Gold! Sure the plot is paperthin, the humor is goofy humor, the characters are flat but man I found myself laughing so hard I nearly choked. Superoffensive and sexualized gags. Two thumbs up

Scary Movie consistently demonstrates that a parody film can be successful with clever material and a compelling theme. For instance, Scream incorporated actual scary movie trivia into its horror elements, while Scary Movie countered that spoofing popular horror films, such as Scream and others, was a comedic concept for the Wayne brothers. They delivered memorable horror spoof moments and created a random, stupid, and hilarious good time at the movies. Grading: B

I loved this film a lot when I was young, but now I think it doesn't hold up very well.

One of my favorites 10/10 still kills me.

The spoof movie that sparked an entire new franchise that rivals that of Naked Gun. The movie makes fun of mainly I Know What You Did Last Summer and the Scream movies, but it has its own digs into the horror genre as is. The whole film has stupid jokes and visual gags, as per usual with spoofs, along with the Wayans Brothers hilarious quips and moments. The whole movie is pretty much a play-by-play recreation of Scream (and they do acknowledge this) and it does it in the absolute perfect way. All-in-all, it was a very fun movie, and it is nice to see the beginning of the Scary Movie franchise.

Just really stupid humour. I've watched it countless times and it still gets me. Great film if you just need a little laugh, can definitely make your day.

If you can’t watch this and not find something funny from it then you aren’t a comedy fan. Yes this is meant to be your typical mockery comedy, so take it for that. Don’t be such a literal fu*k nut and learn to laugh a little.
