Secret Headquarters Reviews
alright for kids I suppose! but the "hero" hardly does anything, bunch of kids go against the bad guys........ :(
Sayang oras.
Really really really really really really really bad and bland show. Felt very short for some reason and just was flat out boring.
Strictly for kids if they are interested in it.
Secret Headquarters is one of the worst films I’ve seen this year. It’s clichéd, boring, poorly written, and painfully unfunny. For the sake of the whole family, skip this one.
If you have children between say 6 and 12 or on the fringes…definitely a great movie to watch on family night.
Where is all this hate coming from? I loved this movie! The action was fun to watch and the characters were funny, great chemistry between the cast! 😊
A derivative outing that adds little to the genre, amid attempted original circumstantial prompt with expected comedically advantageous antics which honestly we don't see often. But it was frivolously directed under aimless repetition of unjustifiably prolonging indecision towards cheesy ridiculing. It does attract with a nice cast providing suitable dynamics, certain few at expected/experienced charisma, then secondary consideration over its directors attempting to branch out their directorial horizon. Overall, it lands near proficiency at minimal satisfaction without impressing much. (B-)
I don't understand these other people! This movie is good! The comedy is ACTUALLY funny and it's combat near the end reminds me of a MCU battle! Also this is WAY better than Netflix's woke bullcrap, "Thunder Force"!
It's a kids world. I think it was age appropriate, funny, and looked great.
I love Owen Wilson but he played such a small role. I didn't like Mr. Peña's role. Props to the diversity coordinator for the movie. They made sure there wasn't a scene which didn't include a black person. And they pushed hard to show interracial relationships in the movie as Disney has been doing for 20 years. Glad to see white people marginalized like colored folks have been for countless years. Soon I hope they make movies with token white people and have a majority of non whites leading. I should give this movie a higher rating for checking all the racial boxes: Hispanic, Asian, white(they suck), black and more black. Acting sucked but what do you want when you select actors by the color of their skin. I hope I don't get on a plane when they start choosing pilots by the color of their skin and not their skill level….which should be starting soon in the liberal cities. Again the movie sucked, plot sucked, acting sucked, the diversity was super awesome….all appropriate race boxes checked with an extra dose of black actors and their jungle music.
It was basically just a list of kid's movie and superhero movie cliches but with bad child actors... and it seems as if the script disappeared during filming - you couldn't have less plot if you tried.
A low brow take on redemption and super heroes. A story that could have been solved by the character having a sliver of the ability to communicate.
Secret Headquarters was thrilling and funny. However, for whom the movie was directed, I couldn't tell. It had a plot for, say, 7–9-year-olds, and yet there was language!
For a family film it's perfect! I love the action and special effects. It's def a family action packed movie. My 9 yr old who loves MCU universe really enjoyed this movie.
Not sure why this getting bad reviews. I loved it. Owen Wilson was great. Sure, some of the ideas were kinda silly but the whole movie was an action comedy so it fit the theme.
needed more owen, less kids acting.... and maybe the wife could've also been a hero --- oh wait, that's the incredibles :)
