Secret Obsession Reviews
Enjoyed the throwback vibe to movies like Misery and Hand That Rocks the Cradle
Fun psychological thriller
Loved Brenda in this. Mike Vogel equally great with an unnerving performance
great indie thriller with standout performance by Mike Vogel
Good movie, engaging. Don’t get why it has low scores. Realistic scenarios, sometimes a bit predictable but overall really nice plot with a few turns.
This was a crazy fun indie film
Had small Misery vibes with a great villain
this is the worst movie I’ve ever seen. The acting sucks. The people sucks the girls a wuss with no survival instincts it’s like she wanted to die.
Caught on Netflix. Had to watch with lights on. Good thriller
Dug the 90s Misery Hand that Rocks the Cradle vibe
I would love to see the sequel happen
Fun popcorn and intense villain
This definitely needs a sequel
Had to watch this with the lights on when I was alone
classic psychological thriller. def needs sequel
A 90's throwback to the thriller genre Secret Obsession premiered to 40 million views putting it into the Top 10 most-watched Netflix Originals ever.
Trash acting, trash dialog, and trash story.
Very predictable (yawn) suspense thriller. I gave it 2 stars because Dennis Haysbert (the Allstate guy) gives 110% and is a very believable character. He'd be great in a regular role as a police detective tv show.
Not my favorite movie at all, specially because it's very predictable, you can guess everything in the movie if you know about thriller movies. The shots are ok, nothing special at all, besides, more creativity with them would make it a better movie in cinematography terms. The fashion is mediocre supposing the time, 2019, it's kind of no fashion sense at all, but that's ok because it's besides the point. Overall it's ok if you want a movie to spend your time, nothing else.
The movie's familiar plot didn't deter me, but the actress's lacking performance was a major letdown.
