Sicko Reviews
This movie turned out to be a very good movie. It has become a work that has been greatly enjoyed by the audience. I think that the work was born because of the director's poor thinking. It turned out to be a movie that I liked very much. I would like to thank the director and actors.
It was a really good movie. Very instructive. I really liked it. I will watch it again later. Also, I really like the small details of the movie.
Filmmaker Michael Moore examines America's health-care crisis and why millions of citizens are without coverage. Moore spotlights the cases of several ordinary citizens whose lives have been shattered by bureaucratic red tape, refusal of payment, and other health-care catastrophes. He explains how the system has become so problematic, and he visits countries where citizens receive free health care, as in Canada, France and the U.K..
These documentaries are no longer JUST documentaries. Its real movie art now.
Thought about the main idea while after watched. Critically raised an issue
I object at times to Moore's boorish approach, but this film brought tears to my eyes. Our healthcare system is shameful.
The best documentary movie ever made!
In Sicko, Michael Moore tackles health care issues in America, problems fueled by corporate greed, corrupt politics, and America's irrational fear of anything remotely associated with the word socialism. Is it objective? Of course not, being a Michael Moore documentary. However, of all the subjects he's tackled over the years, the injustices generated by the American health care system seem to be a thoroughly one-sided debate, a repugnant system that has destroyed countless lives. Moore's attack is two-pronged – there are countless anecdotal personal stories as well as an examination of how other countries with universal health care, including Cuba, manage their programs. It is a clear condemnation of much of what is wrong with the United States – the rich profiting off of the poor. It might be Moore's most powerful film.
The greatest 01 hour: and 53 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Starring director Michael Moore as himself!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
At times you can see that this "documentary" was an acting stage. There is nothing factual in this film. A load of garbage aimed for those with the IQ of a dandelion.
It isn't a documentary, it's a horror film. A crushing blow to the profit-oriented medical care system in the US, which effectively treats humans like garbage. Fascinating and terrifying. Must see, especially if you are an American.
Communize the basics. Capitalize the extras.
Basically, your views of on the issue will determine if you like it or not. However, with an unbiased view I believe that this documentary has taught me a lot about how expensive and manipulative the American health care system is compared to the systems of other countries.
Masterful documentary oscillates between the very funny and the very sad, as it brilliantly examines America's appalling health care system, and how it shamelessly places profits ahead of people. Probably Michael Moore's best film - a must watch.
Another great documentary by Michael Moore but this time about health care. Michael Moore finds this balance between entertainment and educational. I learned so much and I have to thank Michael Moore for making this movies. Can't wait to watch his next movie.
For those of us who live in countries and know the truth about the health care systems Moore admires, we know better than to believe his claims in this propaganda film.
Have doubts about Medicare for All, this documentary is a must see. You will not believe the truths uncovered about the current healthcare system in the USA. Michael Moore has done an excellent job of gathering facts for this documentary. It's pretty jaw dropping.
The comparison of the United States' bottom of the barrel health care system to various European countries' health care system was stark and sobering. His meeting at a restaurant with U.S. citizens now living in Europe was especially eye-opening.
Another great documentary by Michael Moore but this time about health care. Michael Moore finds this balance between entertainment and educational. I learned so much and I have to thank Michael Moore for making this movies. Can’t wait to watch his next movie.
