Wendy Ide Observer (UK) The special effects are bracingly revolting, the malevolent smiles as creepy as ever. And the film has the added bonus of some killer choreography, in every sense of the word. Rated: 4/5 Oct 30, 2024 Full Review Sara Michelle Fetters MovieFreak.com While I’m sure I’ll again be in the minority, for all of its obvious strengths, and just like its predecessor, Smile 2 made me angry, and that’s all there is to say. Rated: 1.5/4 Oct 28, 2024 Full Review Amy Nicholson FilmWeek (LAist) This is the rare case of a horror sequel that is better than the original. Oct 24, 2024 Full Review James Kendrick Q Network Film Desk takes the ideas from the first film and uses them to explore completely different characters inhabiting a completely different world Rated: 3/4 Apr 1, 2025 Full Review Matt Minton Vague Visages “While there’s a great movie hiding inside a solid one, ‘Smile 2’ remains one of the most demonically entertaining horror films of the year through Finn’s twisted and refreshing style.” Jan 21, 2025 Full Review Ian Bunting Daily Record (UK) This follow-up’s two biggest strengths are its lead actress and the stunning shooting style. Alison IT was GREAT. I loved the ending. The seating was nice. Audio was good. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/12/25 Full Review KenRock Scare factor is a 4/10. Plot is just straight up messy. You can just have someone sleep in a chair and have her dream being film and the audience is following her dream( using an example ) see… stupid movie…. Movie just for horror and not for story. I didn’t mind it, but it was just dumb and “what’s the point?” Rated 1 out of 5 stars 04/26/25 Full Review Jonathan in Myrtle Beach I thought this one was pretty good overall and almost as good as the first one. Acting is very good, keeps you on edge the entire time. Story is pretty good and the ending is solid. Not one I'd watch more than once or twice but definitely didn't upset and kept me entertained throughout. A nice solid horror two part series and I wouldn't be upset with a 3rd one! Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/24/25 Full Review Erik it was decent, but i wouldn’t watch again Rated 2 out of 5 stars 04/23/25 Full Review noah I guess i liked it, kinda made no sense at some parts but i thought it was good in production Rated 3.5 out of 5 stars 04/20/25 Full Review Max Great follow-up to the first. Great jump scares. Rated 5 out of 5 stars 04/10/25 Full Review Read all reviews
