Filme mais ou menos, o roteiro é fraca, o filme tem cenas fracas, a história é ruim, o elenco é bacana, mas só o jackie chan ajudou a melhorar o filme, os personagens são ruins e pioram o filme, com tudo isso, eu não recomendo esse filme.

Great comedy with lots of action! The story is about a former CIA agent (Jackie Chan) who watches the three kids of his neighbor with whom he has a relationship. Accidentally, the son downloads a file that is wanted by some terrorists, and from here, there is lots of tension, funny situations and dialog, and a happy end. It's a movie for all ages, for the entire family. Enjoy it!

I think for its time and for a children's movie, this was pretty fun.

Despite being very formulaic, I believe this could have been a crowd pleaser under different circumstances. I'm surprised it wasn't a hit film. I though Jackie Chan was great and believable in his role. I'd prefer a universe where the USA and China are working together in harmony. It's a fine movie, but maybe because it's caught in between a spy flick and family film that people are thrown off? I don't know, but it was pretty decent overall. What were people expecting, Orwell or something? 79/100 C+

Certainly not Jackie Chan's best work, but he still managed to carry this movie from being bad. The acting is not great, the story is in some ways ridiculous, but overall the movie is okay, there are certainly some fun action scenes and it's a movie that I do see kids liking, maybe even some adults but it's certainly not gonna please everyone.

Great feel good movie for the whole family. Similar touches as project A. Jackie chan is a legend of his own. Wide variety of cast.

Although its wacky script and story line find it hard to follow. The Spy Next Door is held together by nonetheless Jackie's Chan's fighting skills and comedy style.

I've never found any of Jackie Chan's material "deeply compelling" in any manner, but I've always admired his physicality (which reminds me of early Robin Williams). This however seems to be scraping the barrel in so many ways, but I am particularly aghast (after less than 1/2 hour of watching) at some of the lamest child actors I've ever witnessed, which also strongly suggests either inexperienced or incompetent director.

It's difficult to have a different impression of this movie from the one I had when I was a kid. It may not have the best screenplay ever written, however, the story is enough to entertain children and can even make some adults laugh a bit.

Visual Spy Movie is very epic to see! This movie starts out exciting, and ends exciting; really, this whole movie is exciting and with some humor! I have to say, I thought this movie was going to be a bit "dumb" but I was surprised how good this movie is! Plenty of martial action! The humor is not inappropriate at the least nor is the action too intense for young ones. I have to say, this movie is very family-friendly and all is to see. OK, I can see how this movie is a bit "poor" but don't be too harsh with this movie!

May the golden era of Chan rests in peace, for this movie is not that great compares to lots of other film

Character Review Jackie Chan does a very good job playing his role as a spy, he had some cool fighting moves and his acting was good. Amber Valletta did a good job playing a Mom, but her role did some things I don't think a real mom would do. Will Shadley's role as a brother seemed okay but, at some points I had a hard time believing his acting because his role seemed unemotional and his actions seemed planned. Alina Foley did a very good job being Nora (toddler) I believed that is how a toddler would act. Magnús Scheving does a good job being a "Russian" villain, his acting isn't perfect but his character made me laugh. Costumes and Special Effects Review There was some fighting with Jackie Chan and Magnús Scheving and it looked pretty realistic. Jackie Chan has a lot of gadgets in the movie that did many cool things. The special effects looked real and cool. The costumes in the movie were pretty good. The kids' costumes looked especially believable because it looked very much like what real kids would wear. Jackie Chan's outfits looked good and accurate for his role. The villains costumes were spot on but Magnús Scheving's was pretty funny (it was supposed to be). The sound affects were good for a kids movie and Jackie Chan's gadgets had pretty cool sound effects. Theme and Recommendation One important theme in the movie is love. Bob Ho loves Jillian so he has to get the kids to love him too. They spend time together and the kid's and Bob develop a bond. Towards the end of the movie the kids have to leave Bob and the kids tell Bob they will miss him, Nora tells Bob that she loves him. The kids went from hating Bob to liking him and being sad that he is leaving. I would recommend this movie to kids and families, it is a great, funny and entertaining movie. I found the movie to be very likeable and have watched it many times. The movie has been one of my favorites throughout my childhood. If you haven't already watched it, you should!

Cute family film where Chan is surprisingly effective.

A silly movie that the kids will like and nothing more.

Seeing Jackie Chan, and not having seen this before. I thought I would give it a watch. It's cheesy and cheeky but doesn't give you a wow. Even the villains are nice. It's a good "to have in the background whilst you're doing something else" kind of film. It was nice to see Jackie Chan in a story about love. It's not very common in a American vanilla film.

Never saw it but rest assured, I would have walked out 5 minutes into the movie.

Its funny, Ameture but still funnt humor and its awesome sillynes makes this movie what it is! A Jackie Chan blast to the past kick as kid movie! I always watched this when i was a litte kid and i loved it! Its almost like the pacifier with Vin Diesel but even better! 8,5/10 witch is an awesome rating!
