Suitable Flesh Reviews
A psychiatrist becomes obsessed with a young man suffering from a serious personality disorder. The mysterious new patient claims an older man is attempting to steal his body. The woman is dragged into a magic ritual that allows a sinister entity to take possession of her body, launching chaos in her life. "Suitable Flesh" is an old-fashioned horror comedy movie with an 80's vibe. The viewer is invited to witness the mental breakdown of the protagonist while we see a supernatural evil take control of her life beyond any limits.
This film has me reflecting on the career of Heather Graham. What a fearless, risk-taker! She's played in over 100 roles and I hope to see as many as possible
Respectable Lovecraftian piece. As good as a body snatcher movie can be, and I'm typically not a fan of those kinds of movies.
This movie is a hot mess. Confusing storyline and bad acting. It was so bad that it was almost comical.
Well made and acted that gets intense at the end, but still just another spiritual possession movie except with more sex.
Cthulhu old god S.T.D, and great acting for this strange gem. If it was "Fleshed" out more id put it high 4.
Seriously one of the most annoying movies I've ever seen. I almost didn't finish it.
It wants to be like Re-Animator, but there are only shadows of it here. Still more entertaining than other stuff out there these days.
Clearly a lower budget production, but still very good makeup and a story that makes sense. Only problem is the clear fake backgrounds and sort of a stage portrayal of the soulless characters
Surprisingly unoriginal and bland for a pseudosexual Lovecraft adaptation. It’s the ‘body swap’ aspect, which has been seen too many times. The end kicks but it didn’t really feel like Lovecraft, other than the tease, where’s the kraken?
I like Heather Graham and the acting was overall pretty good throughout the film, but… the story is VERY bad. And they break their own rules to achieve a mediocre ending. I honestly wish I could unsee it and get that time back. Can’t recommend
Made for 온라인카지노추천? Very dull, slow paced - made it half way before turning over to something else.
Campy, horny horror as god intended
Plays like a made for tv movie. Really pathetic attempt of making a movie.
A psychatrist (Graham) becomes overly interested in a patient. Occult antics ensue. I really wanted to love this film. Lynch directed the hilarious and thrilling Mayhem, featuring a frenetic pace of a story. However, this film drags to the end. An omage to 80s and 90s horror, particularly Stuart Gordon, it lacks the charm of those films and the sets are too clean to provoke a sense of dread. Graham and the eternally young Crampton are a joy to view. That said. Oddly, I want to give it another viewing. There are some films I didn't enjoy the first time around but happily gave a second chance. Two notes I took: a stab to the back of someone's head wasn't believable I did love the car backing up scene. Trivia: Based on the Lovecraft short story, "The Thing on the Doorstep."
Really tried to give this a lot of rope for mutple reasons. On more than one occasion it fel like soft core $orn. The acting, music, writing, dialage all felt alsomt intentionally cheesy but not in a good way.
Story wise was good... at the beginning. However I don't like how the authors/writers/directors contradict their own story and change its own rules of the curse to try and have a mediocre ending. I would've have a better ending
Just barely alright, but the end is so tiresome. Think of something new please.
For a straight to streaming thriller it had me entertained. Graham and Crampton played off each well.
I thought the movie was great! Barbara Crampton and Heather Graham did an amazing job, and it is definitely worth watching.
