Eery, foreboding and absolutely well done. Those that think otherwise, may not have appreciated the symbolism, and the true love of a couple. .Mental health twist, however for those of you that are Intuitive, perhaps will like this movie a bit more than one to whom is not. Suspenseful, in a calm, non chaotic way. Thumbs up to these actors, especially, hubby and wife, depicted this content beautifully. Nay sayers, I vehemantly disagree. Is a worth while watch! I felt like I had just wasted two hours on the edge of my seat watching a psychological thriller build to a climax -- without a climax! The creators want everyone buzzing about what the ending means, and I'll tell you: it means you wasted your time on a copout. I waited, and waited, and waited, and waited for the movie to make sense of it all, but for all practical purposes, there wasn’t a point to make, or at least the point it ostensibly made was a cop-out. I rated it as high as I did because the acting and production quality were outstanding, and it was thought-provoking insofar as it allowed the audience to experience the self-doubt of a person wondering if he’s descending into paranoid schizophrenia. However, it did so in a way that felt unrealistic and thoroughly unsatisfying at the end of the movie. And by the time I got to that point, I wished that I had spent those two hours doing my taxes. On its surface, it seems to be a disaster movie, but really ends up being about one man's struggle with mental illness. The main character goes out of his way to lie to and ignore his loved ones. I can't imagine a marriage where I would hide so much from my wife. Some call this movie a "slow burn", but that would imply there's any fire to it all.
