Teen Wolf Reviews
Picture yourself, it's the 80s, and your teenage feels are in a rage. A problem arises, when you have to make decision on who you are going to take on the prom. For instance, Miss Booth, the idea girl or the most popular girl in high-school. You will try your best to get at it, but will you succeed, the choice is in the cards, karma, destiny, or déja vu. Ultimately, you will win in the end with this confidence. The Wolf makes you popular, now another decision to make, to take the easy road or the hard way. In the end, you will be happy, for along time. 😊
Quite a bore fest and simply not very good.
One of my absolute favorite movies as a kid. Michael J Fox is in his comedic prime. Highly recommend.
Say what you want but this is a highly underrated movie. Love the soundtrack and story. MJF is great. Tim Treakle
This movie is up there with Airplane and Spinal Tap. It’s quote-ability is spectacular. Comedic acting is top notch (honorable mention to Bobby Finstock). Bonafide cult classic.
Classic. Such a great film of the time.
A movie that can only exist in 1985. A very cheesy and dated film, but still somewhat fun. Michael J. Fox is great at portraying a shy/average teenager which shows he really could've been an awesome Spider-Man back in the day. The music is also very damn catchy. If this was released today, people would've ripped it apart piece by piece 😂.
Starts low budget but has great music. 6.7/10
Unquestionably one of Michael J. Fox's less impressive films. Just an obvious attempt to spice up an uninteresting, useless tale.
Straight off the bat! I'm an 80's kid through and through. I was born in 1980. I was blessed to have a father around, who allowed me to watch most 80's movies as they came out. I have nothing but fond memories of this movie; renting from the video shop back in the day. Rose tinted specs in full effect. Typical 80's movie, but in the ‘higher quality' catagory. A great dit of a movie with songs and teen escapades. The moment where Scott's dad shows himself to be a werewolf aswell, always brings a wry smile to my face. I'm sorry but it's a 4.5/5 as far as 80's movies go.
LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 28 minutes ever!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Es una película simple pero entretenida una buena actuación de Fox y con algunos huecos en la trama pero es una película simple y entretenida para ver
A young teen transforms into a wolf and must answer the many questions into what he wants to be in life? A drama first and a werewolf second.
If you watch this movie make sure you keep in your mind it's a comedy not a horror movie and you will have a good time.
Teen Wolf is an 80's cult classic. Michael J Fox was at the height of his popularity and werewolves we're all the rage. Break out the talking stick and munchies, this flick is a trip through nostalgia ville.
I'm amazed that M온라인카지노추천's popular Teen Wolf series was created from this goofy 80s movie. There's hardly any substantial material to find inspiration in, yet the showrunners managed to derive a whole universe. Michael J. Fox is hilarious, and his character is by far the most entertaining amidst all the nonsense. Why the film became a cult classic is baffling, but I guess the 80s were just like that.
This was my favorite movie when I was 8-years old. Michael J Fox's second most famous project [first obviously being the Back to the Future Trilogy] was made extremely well for a coming-of-age werewolf dramedy. Fox's standalone performance made Teen Wolf's most silliest moments memorable, furnishing a staple in eighties cult cinema.
Joined the decade's wide range of teenage rambunctious energy as cinematically depicted with the only difference in this picture is the mixed inclusion of "I Was a Teenage Werewolf" with the "American Werewolf" replicated effects. It was riveted by Fox's performance lingered from his preceding breakthrough recognition, but the werewolf narrative only served from the sidelines expressing individualism's truism and left the engaging sporty climax to solidify that turn. I never realized Teen Wolf was so light-hearted and fun. I remember seeing snippets of the movie on 온라인카지노추천 and seeing the werewolf playing basketball, so it should have been obvious, but this movie doesn’t take much seriously. In fact, aside from some mild shock when the transformation first happens in front of people, in general no one acts as though the existence of werewolves is all that surprising. What would probably be earth-shattering news in the real world, turns out to just be a way of winning basketball games in this one. Because the film was so playful about it all, I found it to be quite enjoyable. It’s a silly coming-of-age story that could have been told just as well without the werewolf thing, but that made for a more humorous metaphor when it comes to the changing bodies of teenagers. Also, I imagine the werewolf makeup and costume made it much easier to substitute a body-double for the stunts and some of the basketball. I’m a sucker for any film that features Michael J. Fox, and he brings a lot of charm to Teen Wolf. For such a charismatic actor, I am always impressed how he can portray genuine insecurity and fear. Of course, in addition to Fox, the film pulls that classic 1980s trick of filling the cast of “high school kids” with people in their mid-20s. Over the years I’ve found that, once you accept it, the whole age difference kind of fades away and it’s easy to forget that it was ever an issue. I also have to mention that I loved James Hampton in his small role as the dad. He is the perfect average and ordinary dad who delivers wholesome advice, which makes the reveal mid-way through the movie work so well. Teen Wolf certainly has some weaker moments that don’t hold up nowadays, and it is somewhat irreverent and goofy. But there’s enough pure entertainment value in the film, that I enjoyed it even without one bit of nostalgia from my childhood.
