Rated 5 out of 5 stars 06/16/23 Full Review Audience Member Ken Loach stranamente prende spunto da un pozzo di personaggi in cui aveva già pescato; quello dei servizi sociali; e questo probabilmente è l'unico aspetto in cui il film si ripete in maniera simile a quello che fu il suo "My name is Joe". Per questo, almeno inizialmente, si fatica leggermente a salire a bordo; ma una volta che la trama prende piega, ci si appassiona inesorabilmente per la sorte del protagonista seguendolo nell'altalena di emozioni che si alternano. Il finale racchiude la particolarietà del suo regista; un lieto fine non senza imprevisti e senza grosse esagerazioni.
