Weird the low score. It's a fun a interesting movie if you don't expect anything and don't have a stick up your ass. The protagonist is Ego Maniacal, Spoiled to a level unfathomable, and basically a ahole. The jokes are ok but they wear thin fairly quickly and the story devolves into your typical bad person becomes better redemption story. It's probably worth keeping in your collection, like Shallow Hal would be. Something you might dust off every decade and watch but it's not going to win over any hearts.

The Bronze is a misunderstood gem. Riding some Napoleon Dynamite vibes, Rauch is a real charmer. Yes, the character is obnoxiously abrasive at first -- maybe somewhat over the top -- but her various hard edges gradually soften, as the other characters work their own subtle magic on her. Great cast. Enjoyable movie. Sad it got so much hate and derision.

This movie is halarious. You'll laugh and be shocked and feel hopeful. Don't trust rotten tomatoes, this movie is great.

The hero was so mean that I was ready to turn it off. However, was good watching how a small town girl learns what's really important. Note, it is not a being a medal winner.

Crude and crass. Did not prevent me from laughing hysterically at the pampered athlete theme. It's was very predictable but the main character was so annoying she was charming. I happily exchanged my afternoon for this funny sarcastic film.

Is a good movie to just pass the time. I would have been upset if I'd payed money to see this in the theatre. The swearing and sexual jokes were funny in the beginning but quickly grew annoying. Highlight of the movie was Sebastian Stans character wish his character was in the movie more.

Really good watch, would watch again, and can recommend. Finally a movie that proves that Melissa Rauch was the hot one on "Big Bang Theory". Melissa Rauch carries this one, above and beyond, and she shows her range into dirt comedy and psychological drama without batting an eye, like a champ. The "angry jerk" routine gets old pretty fast, but it shifts throughout the movie so it's not unbearable, and for every ounce Raunch gives, Haley Lu Richardson comes back with "happy idiot" and it's a wonderful juxtaposition. Special mention to Sebastian Stan for helping Melissa Rauch with one of the most amazing sex scenes I've ever seen, and it's not even about it being dirty. It was as beautiful and funny as it was sexy. The movie is funny, but it does feel as if you're laughing in spite of the movie, and its a special kind of dark humor.

Well, she did a variation of Bernadette, which was annoying, as was the story, as was the acting. A movie about a whiny brat would've been better off as a horror movie where we could have been legitimately rooting for that character to get bumped off. After 15 or 20 minutes, we had had enough. The movie was titled The Bronze, but when we shut it off it felt like a lead weight had been lifted off my shoulders.

It did have some quality moments with a few lines that made me laugh out loud. The highlight in this film is Sebastian Stan. He is just perfect with his portrayal of an arrogant, cocky douche-bag has been, still living in the peak of his past success, ready to step on anyone who challenges it. It's worth the watch just for his performance alone and the line " I am the f*cking god of gymnastics!"

I think if you go into this movie without expectations unlike the other reviewers here, you will actually enjoy this movie.

The bronze is not nearly as funny as it thinks it is. I enjoy watching movies about washed up celebrities further in their career but the bronze overall is just another romantic comedy. The biggest problem I have with it is Melissa Rauch plays a very annoying character. She’s constantly high-pitched and annoying. The supporting cast is decent and that it has a few laughs but with a better screen writer it could’ve been better.

Funny movie with great characters. Surprised by the other ratings here.
