The County Reviews
A moving story in the type of "All alone against everything", ist satysfying and melancholic Also why is this interpreted as comedy? i have no idea, there wasnt a much of humour really, it was rather cold show
Not sure how this tragedy could be called a comedy! A very sad story about a widowed farmer who tries to rally her neighboring dairy farmers to oppose and compete with "The Cooperative" which rules their lives through intimidation and coercion. The ambiguous ending is consistent with the tone of the rest of the film...this is not a pat happy ending, but you know that Inga is going to take charge of her own life and ultimately triumph, although not in the way she wanted.
This thing is un-watchable, full of old and ugly actors mugging their way through a silly plot about the little people defeating the powers that be.
