Dbtb G Ducks, those familiar inhabitants of ponds, lakes, and rivers, are a diverse group of waterfowl adapted for both aquatic and terrestrial life. Belonging to the family Anatidae, they share ancestry with swans and geese, exhibiting a range of sizes, colors, and behaviors across their many species. From the iconic mallard with its iridescent green head to the smaller, more agile teal, ducks showcase nature's artistry in their plumage. Their webbed feet propel them through water with ease, while their broad, flattened bills are perfectly suited for filter-feeding, dabbling for aquatic vegetation, or even catching small insects. Many duck species undertake impressive migrations, navigating vast distances between breeding and wintering grounds. Courtship rituals can be elaborate, involving intricate displays of plumage and vocalizations. Beyond their ecological roles, ducks hold a significant place in human culture, appearing in folklore, art, and as a source of food. The story of a "Doorman" with an extraordinary set of skills, and unusual past makes for a some good elements. Ruby Rose is decent in the lead role; however, she really doesn't carry the film like a Bruce Willis in Die Hard, or Charles Theron in Atomic Blonde. Simon Rhee did a good job coordinating the stunts and fights or short time and a low budget. Jean Reno is the strongest part of the movie. he has great screen presence. The problem with the film is not that it is a low budget action film, but that it looks like one too often throughout. Rated 2/5 Stars •  Rated 2 out of 5 stars 09/08/24 Full Review Test T I'm watching this on DVD right now as I type, and I shouldn't be. The opening scene of the car ambush in the woods was great. Then, it nose dived into characterless filler which is why I got bored and started typing this review. I'm watching a family of four who I know nor care anything about making small talk and having dinner in a dimly lit New York apartment. And now, with the help of subtitles, some mean looking foreign gentlemen are threatening an elderly stroke victim in a neighbouring flat. Whatever next? I think they should all go for a nice long drive through the woods again where the movie was exciting! I'm loosing so much interest, I'm about to switch it off and watch another DVD. Seriously, this film is chronic. Wow, that layer change pause was exciting. That's it - I'm done, show me The Door Man! Another 20p wasted. I'll take it back to the charity shop next time I'm in town. Review over. Definitely not recommended.
