The Garfield Movie Reviews
I feel this movie is not the Best animated but it is pretty good for christ pratt if I’m saying it right.
Not bad. Better than the 2004 rendition for sure.
Cute but not really faithful to the Garfield character. But I guess it'd be hard to make a full length movie around a cat who barely moves and only cares about eating. The real Garfield would not have cared about any of the things in this movie. Spoiler alert. He certainly wouldn't have left a plate full of lasagna to go help someone. So, I guess they had to make him likeable, as opposed to the hedonistic gluttonous bully that Davis created.
This movie taught us that no matter your parents are there or not they still love you
My girls loved the movie
para los adultos que dicen "no hay nostalgia",que esperan?,es una peli para los niños chiquitos, esta buena y entretenida con historia decente.Quizas no sea como las tiras comicas de los 80,pero esta buena
It was okay. Some funny parts, some funny characters. Kid enjoyed some of it. We do need to get past inserting stars into films for their popularity and not their talent. Chris Pratt is great at what he does. This is not it. Doesn’t come close to the original cartoons.
The Garfield movie is not entirely ABYSMAL. the problem i have with this movie is how BAD the plot is and how BORING the movie plays out. i will not write VERY long about this movie. i liked the animation a lot. the characters though, were really bad. i just found them very unlikable. i wish this film ended up like the peanuts movie. but still toddlers would probably enjoy this movie. overall I don't recommend this movie, 4.5/10.
A very nice and cute cartoon without unnecessary extras — just the way it should be. Awesome! Thank you.
I grew up with Garfield and Friends and this movie misses the mark.
Me pareció una película decente y buena para la historia de Garfield
It was good but the 3D glasses weren’t that comfortable.
It was pretty good. One thing I wish they didn’t do was make Garfield tell the whole story in advance. I also kinda feel like the whole story wouldn’t make sense to put in a Garfield movie. Like Jim Davis never put anything like that in any of his books. Keep that in mind. I love how they brought in Chris Pratt for Garfield. That felt right. It’s kinda worth watching though. I liked it more than I disliked it.
I thought it was very creative, and cool every body in my family liked it, my mom was begging to watch when she saw me watching it. baby brother was laughing uh... most of the time. Ive never seen the author do any of this before!YYYYYYAAAAAAAYYYYYYYYY I liked it! 4 stars
Garfield was kind of funny in the story it was great
Very mediocre, but not awful. It just didn't feel really like Garfield. But the animation was really good looking.
Funny how the "adults" are whining about how it doesn't do enough to make them feel nostalgic for some memory they had as children...perhaps this movie wasn't made for you? The animation isn't great but it does enough to please the kids and pass the time, and it does have a sweet story and a few laughs.
Though it may be an unfaithful adaptation to the beloved comic strips, this film has enough great voice acting performances, cracking jokes, and strangely hilarious comedy to make this a passable Garfield Movie.
I definitely love this movie, I don't care about what anyone thinks about Chris Pratt being garfield, the story between Vic and Garfield never fails to make me cry everytime I see this film, and its also a really fun movie to see. as of I'm writing this I've seen The Garfield Movie 5 times and it is still truly amazing. 9.5/10
Although Chris Pratt falls a little flat as the titular main character, the animation is nice, some good humor, and just enough fun for kids and parents alike!
