The Harder They Fall Reviews
It鈥檚 a pretty good movie. Great soundtrack. Script is alright. The cast is superb. Definitely not the greatest western, but a pretty fun ride.
This cast! This cast! This cast!
Had to stop watching. If you asked AI to create cheesy western dialogue it would spit these scenes out. So many great actors yet you could always tell they were acting which means bad directing. And Majors and Beetz had ZERO chemistry.
Extremely fun and entertaining. The music, cinematography, customes, and sets were incredible. Fantastic cast and great characters. This film deserved so much more attention and recognition than it got.
A fun movie about the Wild West. A light film - recommended to watch.
Stylised Western for African-American actors (although there was one scene with Caucasian actors 馃槉). Cheesy with fanciful gun play. Grandiose stages and reasonable acting although the plot was weak and predictable.
Mostly style above good story
Thought from the very beginning that the cinematography was amazing! Immediately thought of Tarantino style including the soundtrack options. The way the music blended with the scenes as it faded as well. The storyline went slightly adrift and needed a bit more control to solid subject, but overall loved the concept! Great cast! 鉂わ笍馃挴 oh and the WHITE TOWN! Perfect! 馃憣 Great laughs
GREAT MOVIE WESTERN WITH A GOOD STORY!!
It was fanatic to watch. Intriguing at its finest. Alluring. The cast was well picked and the movie story itself was great. Must see. Idk why I waited so long to watch. If there鈥檚 a 2 I hope the cast is as good as the first.
Dull. Such an insipid story for the most part ,the only thing that saves this movie is it's ending. Style over story dominates here.
Fantastic cast, story, music and action! I can鈥檛 recommend enough.
I kicked into the film, and saw that it was fictionalised differently to many westerns. Still, great cast and some good moments. But by about a third through it had jumped the shark. Had to put it down.
Calling this "thing" a western is like calling Cheetolini an honest man! Me? I can't even call it a movie. Ridiculous is what I call it.
With action reminiscent of Tarantino, Spike Lee esque characters & dialog mixed with visual style of a suvave music video & one hell of a soundtrack- Harder they fall surpassed my expectations. The cast is filled to brim with star power but also have great chemistry among them. visually & aesthetically pleasing with a simple & swiftly moving story line while predictable will please western genre fans as well as casual viewers. I am surprised this movie flew under many people's radar. Thoroughly enjoyed this Netflix flick & highly recommend it to everyone
Jonathan Majors was perfect as Nat Love: another brilliant, emotional performance.
I'm not sure if it's an homage or a ripoff of The Good The Bad and The Ugly. I feel like nobody mentions similarities, why would that be?
Not even good as a clich茅 movie. Lost 2 hours of unbelievable bad written dialogs. You know when a movie is that bad it almost becomes good? This is not it. Doesn't even work as a comedy
Infinitely stylish, a charismatic cast and some brilliant dialogue. 20 minutes too long perhaps, but overall it's incredibly fun and an impressive calling card for first time director Jeymes Samuel
