Nell Minow Movie Mom The movie shifts in subject and tone to focus on marital issues between Angelina and Vincenzo and then shifts abruptly into sentimental drama. Somehow by that point we still feel connected to the family and the conclusion is genuinely touching. Rated: B- Apr 13, 2025 Full Review Rick Bentley KGET-온라인카지노추천 (Bakersfield, CA) What ends up being the most interesting part of the film is the casting of Estes. This is not a typical role for the actor and he brings some life to the film. It just isn’t enough. Rated: C Apr 17, 2025 Full Review Jennie Kermode Eye for Film Breslin, as so often, is the standout. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 11, 2025 Full Review Patrick McDonald HollywoodChicago.com Typical Italian tropes (food, loudness) are mitigated by deft comic performances, especially from veteran Lanie Kazan and the grown-up Abigail Breslin. The heart of the story is a reminder that there is an expiration date on family and what they give us. Rated: 3.5/5 Apr 9, 2025 Full Review Read all reviews

Amelia M Finally, a movie that celebrates the beauty and dysfunction of family without sugarcoating it. The writing is sharp and the acting is top-notch. Loved it! Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/15/25 Full Review Lee L Such a sweet surprise! I expected a typical rom-com but got something deeper. This film has layers — comedy, grief, healing, and growth. And it’s beautiful to look at too. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/15/25 Full Review Alicia M This film reminded me of Sunday dinners at Nonna’s house — loud, messy, and full of love. The cast chemistry was spot-on, and the writing felt personal. A must-watch if you grew up in a big family. Rated 4 out of 5 stars 05/15/25 Full Review Vicki D Wildly relatable. If you’ve ever had a family dinner spiral out of control, this movie will hit close to home — in the best way possible. This film doesn’t just show you a family — it immerses you in one. The Italians is filled with vibrant characters and tender chaos. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/15/25 Full Review lena l I didn’t expect to cry. Twice. Then laugh. Then cry again. This movie sneaks up on you emotionally in the best way. Well done all around. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/15/25 Full Review Bruno A The Italians is a heartfelt and thoroughly enjoyable film. It offers an authentic portrayal of life, love, and the complexities of relationships. At its core, it's a story about about family, forgiveness, and the emotional ties that bind us. The film masterfully balances raw, gut-wrenching moments with genuine joy, making for an emotionally rich experience. Every line feels purposeful and genuine, and the cast is exeptionally well chosen. Each actor brings a natural chemistry that radiates from the screen. The Italians will have you laughting one moment and wiping away tears the next. It touches the heart, uplifts the spirit, and reminds us of the value of compassion.
