The Lost City Reviews
lol I took my brother to this not knowing it was a romcom expecting an action adventure. so that was my fault. with a girl it would have been more enjoyable I think. lots of romcom tropes and gags. brad pits short performance overshadows the entire movie.
2 of the best actors out there and they make an even better pair! It was laugh out loud funny & full of action and entertainment!
Brad Pitt made that movie. lol
Fun movie, but Sandra Bullocks plastic face creeped me out
I liked it! it was funny!
as a big book need I loved this movie alotttt. in addition to it having two really good actors
I liked it it wasnt bad at all .
Funny and thrilling. Loved the movie! Especially the surprising ending.
Funny, entertaining, moved along without any slow moving parts
It was a good movie. At the start of the film I wasn’t sure if I would like it but as the movie went along I enjoyed the conversation between the stars more and more. It’s a great movie if you want a quick laugh or two but if your here for a good story and plot maybe try something better but overall I did enjoy this movie.
I like Brad Pit and Sandra Bullock as actors. It's a good romance movie. I'd watch it again .
Actually Id give 4 1/2 stars. Predictable but still fun. It was a brainless escape. Thats what I wanted.
Enjoyed the story and found it very funny at times. I don't know if I'm right about Bullock. If I am, I am disappointed that she felt she needed work done to her face. Unless she lacked expression because of the character.
It literally passed the time. Nonremarkable.
My friend and I chuckled all the way thru! It was a delightful movie :-)
It has its issues, as most movies do, but it serves as a highly entertaining and laugh-out-loud hilarious night out. Sandra Bullock and Channing Tatum have amazing chemistry and Daniel Radcliffe was fantastic. The Lost City is a golden treasure that shines despite its rusty kinks.
Great movie Lots of action, lots of comical scenes. Enjoyed it.
DISCLAIMER-- Give away plot ahead. I really enjoyed it as a rom-com, hubby not as much. Good "mindless" entertainment didn't have to concentrate to follow the plot. The best scene (and laugh) of the whole movie was the pulling the leaches off his back. But, that was the "give away" in the trailer. Nothing else that was a real surprise, except that Brad Pitt and Daniel Radcliff were in movie I didn't see their names in any advertisements. I started poking my husband at what turned out to be the last 2 minutes of the movie, as we have this standing joke about Hallmark movies. The main characters don't fall in love and kiss until then! Surprise! Guess when they kissed??!
when I was a kid, I loved this movie called Romancing the Stone. This felt like an updated version of that movie, but funnier.
Seemed to start a little slow but picked up. Really enjoyed the movie!
