The Ones Below Reviews
A basic and familiar plot that is well acted and directed with a slow-burn suspenseful build. Ending is a bit of shocker.
Reminds me of '90s thrillers, not very deep or serious, the writing basic. Interesting actors, but they're quite limited by the material.
A pretentious bunch of nonsense that is impossible to follow at the end, and therefore deeply frustrating. I have read an explanation of the ending of the movie and I didn't see those things actually happen in the story. It's a very frustrating film to watch because you end up with no idea what is supposed to have happened. Really frustrating film
I can't believe how stupid the people in this movie were!!! Total idiots! Your baby! Your baby, for crying out loud! I just can't. Both the husband and the wife are total fools. Your sense of self-preservation should extend to your child. These were pure idiots. I'm sorry; I know I should be judging the merits of the film, but the story was so stupid, I can't concentrate on any other technicalities.
This movie literally made you cringe and ask why would you do that. Poorly written and spoiler alert, you will hate the ending. Sinister with no redemption. The bad guys get away. Hated it.
Disappointing and ultra-predictable. The downstairs male actor was amateurish at best. His sudden mood changes made the movie seem strange. I suspect that was supposed to be our hint that something was amiss, but it did not work. The story's ending was known from the beginning. There is nothing new about this movie; it is a replay of old concepts.
I've watched paint dry that had more mystery and suspense.
Genuinely creepy and affecting, this film examines relationships, trust, psychological deterioration and fear. Ends disturbingly yet thought-provokingly.
If I could, I would give it zero. It's been a LONG time since I hated a movie so much. Nothing in this movie is remotely plausible, believable, or passes the most basic level of fiction acceptance. Ans what's up with husband still not believing the creep stuff the wife witnessed, even after he witnessed some of the crap himself? that gets old really fast. there is no suspense, thriller, just predictable, irritating nonsense
It was quite good until the end, fairly creepy but. CC온라인카지노추천. Surely the husband would see it wasnt his wife when they look to see what supposedly happened. She wasn't wearing a hat or anything. The acting was really good though!
I thought that it was ok. Very interesting series of events lead up to a pretty painful ending. Similar to “the hand that rocks the cradle” movie, but not as scary.. Ok “thriller”
What a ride! I've watched this twice now. It's even better than it seems: gripping storyline, beautiful portrayal & symbolism, and frustratingly realistic acting.
Really Great Flick. Watch it, you won’t regret it!! Exceeded my expectations.
This is a pretty awful film. Even before the weak writing and plot, the way this is shot makes for a jerky and unsatisfying watching experience. Don't waste your time.
This is one of the most unnerving and tense films I have seen in a long time although I would say that viewers with small children will find it more unsettling than those without because it prays on the sometimes confused mind of sleep deprived parents which I could very much relate to! The film centres on a couple and their new neighbours who on the surface seem to be a perfect match for them friends-wise until more sinister behaviour begins to surface but is it all imagined in the mind of sleep deprived parents or do their new neighbours really have a sinister agenda? I thought it was a well written story, some have said the ending was over the top but I liked it. Certainly a film that plays on your mind sometime after viewing.
It was a fairly okay psychological thriller. I didn't like the cast much but the story was good however it had a very slow pace so I got bored from time to time. The ending was good.
