Kruger is nice to watch but the whole thing is so wooden I gave up after 20 minutes.

A two hour movie with no ending. Sucks!

Convoluted and not quite satisfying.

Where is the audience score? Or is there no audience? The first part of the film is OK, but does not rock, more average spy thriller. The second half consists of many scenes that make zero sense unless you happen to be a spy with an IQ below 70. My advice: Don't watch and waste less of your time, for time is life!

Great movie! One of the rare movies that is critical of Israel's Mossad.

Critics reviews are bullshit. This is an excellent movie. Real, well acted, and fast moving. Honest protrayal of the corrupt operations of Mosad and all other covet intelligence services.

It had potential and at times was interesting. But mostly it was hard to follow and frustrating. But by fair the biggest reason for a poor review was a completely dissatisfying ending. No ending at all … I thought there must be a few more minutes of the movie and then … boom … the final credits start. Not sure what they could have been thinking.

The realistic approach how intelligent agencies developed operatives and how operatives can be compromised in the field. The problem is the movie is not entertaining it is as entertaining as plain old toast. Not the worst thing your going to try, but you wish for something better.

Do not watch this movie. You invest two hours in a movie about a spy in peril and it comes down to does she live or die. And the movie ends before you find it. Really?

After 30 minutes I fast forwarded the whole movie so it wouldn't show up on my continue watching list

Not as bad as the reviews. I liked the acting and the way the script went back and forth in time. Also liked the idea of a movie about a female spy. I do agree with a lot of reviews that the ending could've been better.

This is by far the worst thing I've ever watched... by the time you finally get invested into the character after putting off finishing this train wreck... the movie is over. The ending to this movie would be great for a middle or beginning of a movie. Not the end. Besides the stars the acting is bland, the script is boring and the spycraft is weak. Don't bother watching this movie.

While well acted, and an interesting premise, the ending of this show is ridiculous. It’s like they left off the ending. What the hell? Truly unsatisfying.

Slow developing overall boring

Give it a chance, loved it. Not mind blowing. But wort your time.

While there is controversy between Iran and Israel, there is a topic for movie. This describe the life of a western "spy" living in Iran.

Very slow and dragged out.. trailer was enticing to watch but movie fell flat and got boring.

VERY disappointing ending

The Operative is OK but pretty boring to be honest. Barely any exciting parts in it - which is what spy thrillers are supposed to have.
