The Peanuts movie is a fantastic adaptation of what captured the comics. i haven't read the comics but i am so glad that this movie was actually GOOD, unlike the Garfield Movie (2024). i do wish that the movie had a longer runtime but still, this is a great adaptation! overall 8/10.

This movie is a WINNER, like Charlie Brown has become. I have to go on about the animation. Blue Sky Studios got ahead of the time with this animation style, similar to DreamWorks adaptations of Dav Pilkeys work which came after this - but these will not compare to this which attempted to keep the most 2D effect & charmingly fragile animation, to add more is the animation tableau, those comic effects. There are also all the characters we know & love, they can be funny, likeable, empathetic & relatable, especially Charlie Brown. The ending was so lovely especially when the little red haired girl loves Charlie Brown for he generally is, he is not flanderized, everybody loves him. It was even sweet that Snoopy himself had a love story of his own, where he fantasised being a WW1 flying ace & having the love of his life whose story was equivalent of Charlie Brown's story. CURSE YOU RED BARON, not just for Snoopy but Charlie Brown when the Red Baron destroyed his book report on the red haired girl. Anybody can feel the humour, nostalgia & empathy for this. Everybody loves the Peanuts Movie & it would be terrifying if you came across somebody who didn't like it.

Yo jamás odiaría una película que cumpla todas las virtudes que uno espera: La animación es bonita. Hay momentos conmovedores como el final o el examen destruido. Los personajes son únicos. y el entretenimiento está asegurado.

I consider The Peanuts Movie to be a remarkable tribute to Charles M. Schultz’s work as a simple feature-length updated Peanuts episode without some grand adventure but instead just another ordinary day carried on with the well-known characters and their well known interaction’s. This movie will deeply resonate with Peanuts fans, including myself as it continuously offers its heartwarming Charlie Brown life lessons, along with Snoopy and Woodstock comedic cutaways and remains an enjoyable experience for audiences of all ages in today’s modern world. Grading: A

The Peanuts is a beautifully animated blend of old nostalgic animation of the news paper comic meets modern 3D computer style. Smart, witty and funny, well casted kids as voice actors who exceed expectations indeed. The Shultz family with Steve Martino as a director for this animated movie crafted a great representation of their legacy and why we enjoy Charlie Brown, Snoopy and the rest of his friends.

Adorable and heartwarming Fall film for lovers of Snoopy! Director Steve Martino’s animated comedy The Peanuts Movie (2015) is very cute and charming. The soft looking animation is quite beautiful. I wish every animated movie could look this fluffy, vibrantly colored, and smoothly animated by Blue Sky Studios. Steve Martino’s direction leans into the coming of age comedy of Charlie Brown hanging out with his assortment of Peanuts pals. I found his sincerity and gentle style very lovable to watch. It’s nice to spend time with Snoopy and Woodstock, especially. His direction is very creative for Snoopy’s imagination capers and flights of fancy. I genuinely feel sorrow that this movie was largely ignored in 2015 despite making a profit at the office as Blue Sky Studios could have given us more Charlie Brown films with Peanuts or even a Snoopy movie. All those animators lost their jobs, but at least we can remember their loving animation by watching The Peanuts Movie. Writers Bryan Schulz, Cornelius Ulliano, and Craig Schulz combine coming of age comedy, romance drama, childhood crushes, and nervous doubts. Charlie Brown’s own anxiety and self-doubts feel relatable. It’s nice to show kids how Charlie Brown can gain confidence. The Peanuts Movie will make you reminisce on your own first kiss or childhood crushes. Charlie Brown having a crush on a new redhead girl in town as he experiences all the highs and lows of friendship. Snoopy and Woodstock have aerial dogfights in the style of The Red Baron on their own adventures. Snoopy wanting to impress the girl dog Fifi is cute and endearing. It’s like a parallel story that mimics Charlie Brown’s own fascination with the new girl. Snoopy even helps Charlie Brown learn to dance in time for the school Winter Dance. The Peanuts Movie captures the humor of Charles M. Schulz’ original comic strips and the old classic cartoon movies. Noah Schnapp is surprisingly authentic to the ever nervous voice of perpetual screw-up kid Charlie Brown. I like how Schnapp sounds excited, hopeful, awkward, shy, or dejected depending on Charlie Brown’s constantly shifting emotional state. Hadley Belle Miller is excellent as the mean girl Lucy. She sounds faithful to the old Lucy voice in her playful teasing and cruel bullying of Charlie Brown. I like how she gives Lucy a jealous nature and a crush on Schroeder and Charlie Brown. Mariel Sheets has a cute little girl voice for Charlie Brown’s excitable entrepreneur sister Sally. Alex Garfin is amazing as the inspiring and helpful best friend to Charlie Brown named Linus. His carrying around his favorite blanket is amusing. Francesca Angelucci Capaldi sounds adorable as the quiet new girl in town called The Little Red-Haired Girl. I appreciate how she subtly conveys the redhead actually has a crush on Charlie Brown back. Venus Omega Schultheis is fantastic as the delightfully funny and aloof tomboy Peppermint Patty. Rebecca Bloom’s obedient and studious gal pal Marcie is great. Marelik Walker is good as Franklin. Noah Johnston is great as the piano playing Schroeder. Anastasia Bredikhina’s judgmental Patty and Madisyn Shipman’s shrewd mean girl Violet are fun side characters to tease Charlie Brown besides Lucy. AJ Tecce is fun as the grossly unbathed Pig-Pen. Kristin Chenoweth delivers a cute voice for Snoopy’s love interest dog Fifi. Bill Melendez is fabulous as the wonderful dog Snoopy and the little bird Woodstock. Editor Randy Trager’s slick cutting gives a steady pace for The Peanuts Movie. It barely feels its 88 minutes. Cinematographer Renato Falcão uses nice wide shots to show the audience all the kids as often as possible reacting to Charlie Brown’s mess ups and honesty. The vivid lighting from Dan Haring looks sweet and ensures the characters have a plush aesthetic. Composer Christophe Beck’s phenomenal film score brings delicate jazz piano playing to The Peanuts’ world. In conclusion, The Peanuts Movie brings Charlie Brown into a nice modern era for viewers of all ages. Snoopy is sure to please every audience since he’s so funny and mischievous.

At its best, however, it's a cute and gently funny little-kids film with strong morals and a giant heart.
