A well enough done Thirties B-Movie Rom-Com with a few good lines that skirted the Hayes Code. Miss Gaynor is charming as the hayseed and Mr. Taylor is suave as her reluctant pursuer. The supporting cast are all competent, A couple of over-the-top scenes and a predictable conclusion. I give it three and a half stars for effort and the breezy pacing at just seventy minutes which could be worse spent than a giving this a viewing.

One of my favorite Robert Montgomery movies. The running narration in his head is hysterical. Janet Gaynor is completely adorable, and Franchot Tone almost steals the show. An awesome and inventive romantic comedy.
