Till Reviews
Tear-jerker for sure
A movie every Caucasian needs to see. Is it hard to watch? Yes. Sometimes the truth hurts, but it's how we learn and grow and be better humans
Magnificent Academy Award worthy performance by Danielle Deadwyler with great supporting performances around her. Knowing of the real tragedy, going in I knew this was going to be extremely emotional and Deadwyler made you feel Mamie Till’s pain. Completely heartbreaking.
loved the movie, so sad
The movie was excellent! So raw educational emotional and amazed it took 67 years for Anti-Lynching to be effective.!!!
another mediocre wikibio film
Was a good movie but shouldve been more powerful. Only thing I think wouldve made it more powerful wouldve been to show the brutality. I get why the director chose not to show the violence but I would say for this story it was a weird choice seeing as how Mrs. Till in real life chose to show the brutalitys aftereffect to make people see and not hide it. Other than that, was a good film. The scenery and production is gorgeous and brings out the 50s fashion and life. Love the use of the yellow color and how its given a life of its own.
Very well done.just sorry that the theater was not full
It was a true story that needed to be told. America needs to know the evil and pain of prejudice.
Danielle Deadwyler was technically brilliant, and carried the film.
While it gave enough details of what happened to Emmett Till, it was a wonderful portrail of a mother's love. All of the acting was wonderful. I forgot they were actors.
Very good movie. I loved that it showed a different perspective. It was not about the murder of Till but the fight of a mother for her child.
great education movie and it's still happening
Excellent movie! Should receive several awards!
A valuable story to see and to know. Well acted and played. Worth seeing.
It was riveting. I was accompanied by a person who was a born in the mid seventies and apparently had not heard about it or Medgar Evers in the history books in school. So it was also very educational and definitely a story that needed to be told. The entire cast was outstanding and kudos to Danielle Deadwyler, and Whoopi for producing it.
Good movie. Very powerful and historic. Liked that they weren’t too rough with any of the serious issue but still stellar delivery with the message.
Excellent movie! It showed a great deal of what really must have went on during that time and how E. Till was really a victim of a much divided society at that time and is still the case in some areas of our world today.
Great Movie, and I loved the performance of the Main Characters... amustsee
I loved the movie Till because it gave a glimpse into the life of Mamie Till-Mobley. We met and saw her character father and introduced to her relationships with her husbands especially her fianc/ last husband Mobley. It was just a beautiful movie and all the actors did a wonder job of conveying the horrific story of Emmett Till and how Mamie Till-Mobley dealt with it.
