Filme fraco, o roteiro é fraco, as cenas são mais ou menos, a história é fraca, o elenco é mais ou menos, e ninguém ajuda a melhorar o filme, os personagens são fracos, e o filme deveria ter cenas bem melhores e relevantes, para fazer o filme ser bom.

Would definitely recommend if wanting some insight on what unfolded that day. This isn't a full on documentary but is actually a docudrama which is where the events of that day are basically reenacted through a movie. Kind of like Titanic, minus the love story and fictional characters. Just be warned, it is extremely emotional and heartbreaking.

1001 movies to see before you die (post 2005). It took me a long time to track down this film and I was worried this would have taken the easy way out on a 9/11 film. However, it took the high road and never resorted to cheap exploitation of the tragedy. Telling it from the FAA, military, and passenger's point of view was much more effective and informative. It didn't dumb things down, but explained them for as they were without the dramatization. Well made and it kept my interest. SLC Library DVD.

One of the best films I have ever seen. I have watched numerous times and despite knowing the ending I still get chills during the final scene. Incredible piece of cinema all Americans should watch at least once.

Unbelievably great and gut wrenching movie! Also inspiring to see a group willing to risk it all to potentially save many lives as they didn’t know their destination.

No Hidden Agenda, No Hammed in Patriotism, Just the most realistic portrayal of what most likely happened. What is here is a All Time Classic and without a question the best film about Sept 11, 2001. It captures the dread, chaos, and shock of the day perfectly. It feels like it's Sept 11th again watching it. I admire so much how no A List Stars are in this as well. This is truly done with nothing but respect and never sensationalizes anything. This is masterfully done and the actual 93 flight is only the main focus in the last 40 minutes or so but it is nothing short or riveting and gutwrenching to watch. And through it all a story of courage and sacrifice shines through. This sticks to the facts and despite not really having a central character has a perfect chaotic flow and with riveting acting. Everyone should see this once. Never Forget.

A brilliant, riveting movie. I’ve probably seen it about 10 times now, and it’s still just as good as I remember it every time I watch it.

One of the best, if not, the best film based on the September 11th attacks. The use of tension, acting, and historical accuracy displayed throughout the film is riveting in the best ways and make you feel like you are part of the action. It is undeniable that a lot of research was put into this film to make it feel real while also giving you a estimation of how United 93 could have unfolded. The acting is just mesmerizing at times and everyone displayed there emotions through the screen beautifully. It is just such a tense experience throughout that leaves you speechless once the movie ends. This is just a perfect fill for what it needed to be and I strongly recommend for anyone to watch.

Arguably the least sensationalised movie about 9/11 you could see. With the help of it's location, this taut and terrifying film places you right in the heart of the deadly situation all on board are stuck in.

Showing respect to the victims of 9/11/01, this movie goes to great lengths to bring pure honesty of the source events, not relying heavily on Hollywood bells and whistles.

"United 93" is a hyper-realistic approach to the fateful events of one of the hijacked passenger planes during September 11th 2001.  Filmed in real time, "United 93" director Paul Greengrass, stays faithful to all known facts. These include the aircrafts delay in departure, actual take off time of 08.42, from voice recordings, the hijackers takeover of the cockpit at 09.26 and the passengers attempt at regaining control half an hour later.  Greengrass uses details of phone calls made from the aircraft, on ground air traffic control records, as well as actual T.V. footage of the days events to complete the timeline and fill in the narrative of the events as they unfolded.   What "United 93" does well is focus on the 33 passengers and 7 crew members responding and reacting to the fact that the aircraft they are on has just been hijacked. Armed with cutlery, boiling water and a food cart the passengers charged towards the hijackers after discovering details that other aircraft had been used to crash into The World Trade Centre and The Pentagon. Realisation that the hijackers were on a suicide mission drove the passengers to the cockpit in a desperate attempt to retake control of the aircraft. Unfortunately during the fight back the Terrorist at the controls forced the plane to crash near Shanksville, Pennsylvania. On display throughout the film is the confusion and the preparation failure of NORAD to defend the country and the panic that the FAA found themselves in while trying to deal with such unprecedented events.  "United 93" is a disturbing and chilling profile of the courage of the passengers and crew who tried desperately to work together and fight for survival against all odds.

With the documentary-like realism in which it is filmed, the respectful direction that doesn't feel like it's Hollywood-ised (note the lack of well-known actors in the cast; the closest we get is a guy who starred in CSI: Miami and even then, I wasn't aware until after the fact, mostly because I've never actually watched CSI) and the committed performances that make you feel like you're really there on one of the most tragic days in American history, United 93 is a powerful, even heartbreaking story about one of the most sobering tales of real-life heroic sacrifice. Definitely didn't feel like it was capitalising on the fact that it was coming out nearly 5 years after 9/11.
