Women that did not have mother or father in their lives growing up or women that have felt abandonment would understand the movie. Yes , it’s a funny movie. however , this movie is mainly focused on a message that is supposed to be deep and true to the heart. I don't understand how she got no nominations for this role, she was incredible. Brittany Murphy got no business being dead It's such a good music, I'll never understand why the reviews are so low. Very touching story. The last 30 minutes are so goddamn sad but also not really. I hadn't watched this movie since like 2010 and all I remembered was the tea cup scene, Dakota Fanning and Brittany Murphy being amazing, the comatose dad and the movie somehow making me really sad. I will say, the Neal plotline stops this movie from being a 5 stars. I hated everything about his character. I was so happy to see Molly tell him off cauz yeah him just using her as a muse is gross!
