This movie shaped my childhood. Even when I became a teenager I still enjoyed it.

Great for kids who love Dinosaurs. That is about it though. Good soundtrack as well.

Well yes it's a learning point for kids and some are unnecessary but overall the movie is great. Kids love the humour...

This movie was my childhood, and it is not perfect yes, but it still has amazing animation that can rival Jurassic world. But it can sometimes have humor that kids think is stupid. but it still was my childhood.

Well, i liked the movie. I thought it was cute and had amazing cinematics. I do wish the story had been a little more serious at times but in the end it was a good movie.

This was a great movie when I watched it in 2013 in theaters with my brother and Dad. I love this movie and it brings back fun child hood memories I watch the movie on DVD all the time

Alright so I went into this movie being like "Oh awesome, let's see some dinosaurs with great documentary dialogue!". But nope. This movie is CURSED! It's litereally cursed! What were the filmmakers thinking? I totally agree with critics here. Audience score is probably a bit too high. This movie is just CURSED! I keep saying that but it is. It's CURSED!! So basically, if you haven't seen it. The dinosaurs are well-animated, the world is nicely made but here's the problem. The dinosaurs talk. Not like litereally. They don't move their mouths while talking. It's some dumb people voices over them saying stuff. So let's say the dinosaur had it's mouth closed right? Well the person would be saying something like "I will become the leader no doubt! I will!". They didn't actually say that but you get the idea! It's cursed because they ruined it! The voices are so awful and bad they ruined the movie. This movie is godawful. The animation is really solid and everything else is fine but the voice part completely ruined this movie. I would not recommend this movie to anyone. Yeah nobody should watch it. It's cursed. So don't watch it. Unless you want to see the horrifying mess. So yeah, that's my take on it.

I honestly love this movie and i have since it came out and would watch it nearly every night. It seems a little cringy now but when i was younger it was educational with an humorous nick to it that kept me entertained and started my slight obsession with dinosaurs.

Rating as an Adult/Now & as a Child: 7/10. 70/100

One might think it would be pretty hard to insult the intelligence of the grade school kids this juvenile movie seems to have been written for. Not so. This movie belies its occasional educational moments with a sappy, moronic script, complete with bad jokes and dinosaur farts. If you want to see the dinosaurs, there's better ways to do it than wading into this murky mess. Plus, there is a scene where a predator snatches a pterosaur out of the air and kills it, and a very long scene in which several predator dinos slowly kill a hapless dino while it makes pathetic eye contact with the rest of its herd, who watch and do nothing. Is that really something we should be forcing little kids to watch? And how did a 2013 movie get made with hairless, featherless dinosaurs when it was well proven by then the majority of dinos had some feathers? I hope the FBI will eventually catch whoever blackmailed Karl Urban into doing this movie... there must have been blackmail involved, because it took place AFTER Karl Urban's excellent turns in "Lord of the Rings" and as Dr. McCoy in "Star Trek". The man is a legit STAR, and wouldn't agree to a part like this after seeing the script unless foul play was involved. Did Karl Urban wake up with a dinosaur head in his bed?

From what I remember of this movie, it was cute and interesting but I can't remember much so don't really listen to me. 😂

I want the movie so much

The Walking With Dinosaurs Movie is very disappointing Dinosaur movie. It does have some amazing visual effects, good visual look, decent score, and beautiful shots. Unfortunately these are overshadowed by the voiceovers, dialogue, bad song choices, and it's conflicting identity on being a nature story or a kid friendly story. It could've been a great film but these issues make it one of the worst dinosaur films that I have ever seen. I wouldn't recommend this to you. Instead watch March Of The Dinosaurs which also has the same dinosaurs that appeared in this film. Rating: D+

Just face it guys, this movie was made only for children into dinosaurs. This movie is very childish. It's less of a movie and more of a cinematic documentary. You have yourself a story told by an Alexornis about a young Pachyrhinosaurus named "Patchi" who tries to survive in the Late Cretaceous with another Pachyrhinosaur "Juniper" around Gorgosaurus, Pterosaurs, etc. what do you expect? That being said, kids will enjoy this movie while adults will find many flaws to it. Yes it did worse than Godzilla: King of the Monsters, but this ain't no thilling kaiju movie, this is a children's dinosaur film, kinda like Dinosaur, or even Land Before Time. Basically an underrated masterpiece.

I have watched a lot of films. And this is genuinely the worst film I have ever watched!

It blows my mind how 1 mistake can change the quality of a movie. What makes it even worse is that this wasn't the intention, they did this at the last minute when the movie was already being marketed.

Truly the worst cinematic experience of my life it was like going to a CGI dinosaur museum. No action or character development to speech of in the whole movie.

If your child likes dinosaurs, this movie is a must-see! Great story.
