Adam Nayman The Ringer The tale of a trash compactor from the future who's desperate for connection isn't just one of Pixar's unlikeliest successes, but its most arresting and prescient. Jun 17, 2022 Full Review Deborah Ross The Spectator Much of the film is wonderfully imagined, and there is something utterly winning about this tin can topped with binoculars... It's just a shame that, at the end, it trips itself up with its own SENTIMENTALITE. Aug 23, 2018 Full Review Glenn Kenny MUBI Although Wall-E ends with a very apt and moving nod to City Lights, it is in fact Pixar's answer to Modern Times-both a bravura summation of everything the studio is great at and a "You ain't seen nothing yet!" statement of purpose. Dec 13, 2017 Full Review Cory Woodroof For the Win (USA Today) It¡¯s a remarkable accomplishment, and it only gets better with time. Mar 1, 2024 Full Review Brian Susbielles InSession Film Stanton directs a masterpiece that is to behold forever among the greatest animated films. Éú»î ÎÄ This is not only my favorite Pixar movie and the direct reason why I got into Pixar, but also my favorite movie, the best animated movie made by humans in my eyes. The ideological theme of the film is full of philosophy, reaching the peak level of animated films. This film imagines a distant future where society is highly developed and companies monopolize everything, but humans are completely immersed in endless virtual consumption and enjoyment, losing the ability to choose and act, losing the love and emotional throbbing in human nature, and human existence has lost its meaning. Robots, however, embody the lost values ??of humans. Under the simplest robot appearance of the protagonist Wall-E, he expresses a lot of rich emotions, and the character design is exemplary. Wall-E cleans up garbage, collects collections, watches musicals, and other activities every day, giving himself humanity and meaning of existence. Its great love with Eva represents the most noble pursuit of love by humans. In the end, Wall-E and Eva finally get married, and humans return to Earth to rebuild civilization with their own hands and return to nature. The plot of this film is also smooth and full of twists and turns. In general, this movie is impeccable. The two robots held hands, and they could only say some simple and meaningless words to each other. But I felt the silent love passing through the screen and echoing in the universe. It seemed that only these two robots were left in the entire universe, and all living things were bathed in their love. Through these creations of Wall-E, God reminded humans of the greatest thing in human nature - love. It centers on life¡¯s small, meaningful moments and the impact of genuine connections. In one of the most heartwarming films ever made, you¡¯ll find yourself captivated by two robots and even a cockroach. With its exquisite animation, masterful use of music, and a touching portrayal of love, this movie is bound to steal your heart. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/09/25 Full Review Dominic C Imagine a movie with no speaking (at least until they get on the ship) and it be the 3rd best Pixar movie ever. You get Wall-E Rated 5 out of 5 stars 05/08/25 Full Review Kobi A Stunning. Way better for me as an adult than it was as a kid. The fact that Wall-E barely talks and yet manages to be one of the most well-realized and charming characters in animated history speaks volumes. The environmental message is well handled, the romance is believable. The weak villain is really the only thing holding this back from a perfect score. Rated 4.5 out of 5 stars 05/07/25 Full Review Todd Alan III E This is a amazing film this movie is a part of my heart and soul and i would do anything to meet the greatest Pixar movie director of all time Andrew Stanton I need to tell him how much this means to me while yes Pixar movies are most of the time really bad this one is not bad or good...it's better then both this is a great movie thank you Pixar for making these amazing films even if they're good or not.
