You I Love Reviews
A gay-positive movie from Russia? Who would have thought it, and it's actually really good. The characters each battle their own demons in different ways, and it is really enjoyable. I highly recommend it.
You I Love, ou no original, Ya Lyublu Tebya, é um filme gay russo.
why do all the gay themed movie have to have covers like that? seems like a porno or something. shame. not that the film doesn't have sex but COME ON, there's much more in it. it's wonderful <3 Uloomji <3 <3 he's the Love <3 i liked how he sang in the beginning and all the jumps and things he made. sweet sweet lovestoryyyy
This is something that I actually didn't expect from Russians. First thing to say: great plot! Simple life of a man who survived complete makeover after simple car accident and a boy who just like that walked into his life and just stayed there. It's lovely and romantic story about love, a kind of love that you don't see really often.
Weird as every russian movie I've seen, but very interesting. You can't deny love, and you can't fight against it. Uloomji is an exceptional character, which need a lot of attention to understand it's fascination for everything, and the child-like way of life. Hilarious, comic and great.
There's something consistent with russian films and there are all quirky in a way and i kinda like it. I think the film is very convincing. good script and acting.
Silly but endearing. I liked it a lot more after watching the interviews and realizing that this is one of the first Russian films to even address homosexuality (the producer said it was the first, but low-budget "The Creation of Adam" was on the indie film circuit in 1994). The characters are a little too kooky to be "sympathetic" per se, but still very likable with funny and hot moments.
A sweet, lovely urban gay romance comedy, totally different from the impression I had about Russian film. The story is dramatic but the acting and cinematography don't let it look meretricious.
Saw this on my birthday one year. Just plain STRANGE. The story line is often lacking cause-and-effect and the whole thing feels like an anime. Still, worth watching for Russian cinematography and vividness.
A Russian homosexual/bisexual-comedy. Not really impressive & some of the scenarios are rather confusing.
It couldn't stay centered long enough to temper the wacky directing. The consumer motifs became painfully obvious and completely irrelevant, but I guess that's pretty true to life.
its most of all a comedy... it has its mushy momment but meant to be a comedy... loved it because it was funny and so did my brothers and my cousin;s roomates... worth seeing
