Batman Reviews
Over 35 years later, this film still thrills me as if I were seeing it for the first time in 1989. It was lightning in a bottle—the perfect storm of talent and vision. Tim Burton’s direction, Anton Furst’s hauntingly gothic production design, Danny Elfman’s unforgettable score, Jack Nicholson’s gleeful menace, Kim Basinger’s breathless vulnerability, and Michael Keaton’s tightrope walk between aloof billionaire and unhinged vigilante—it all came together in a way that still feels singular. Everyone has their biases when it comes to comic book heroes and films, but I can’t think of another movie where the visuals, atmosphere, and tone are as integral to the experience as the script itself. This was a comic book art house film—a bold, stylish embodiment of the Batman mythos. Alongside Donner’s Superman, it laid the foundation for how comic book worlds could leap from the page to the screen with power, style, and permanence.
Born in 1988 this film is best superhero movie by going comic book ideas design, costuming, special effects and wonderful experiences.
Excellent casting, dialogue and acting! Great ideas too but it does feel like set piece after set piece almost like it's designed to have a video game made of it! Which happened!
Absolute Classic Movie From The Look Of Everything To The Epic Elfman Score! I Love The Designs Of The Costumes And Vehicles! And This Movie Actually Looks Like A Batman Comic! Truly A Classic Childhood Movie Of Mine, And An Epic Batman Vs Joker Story!
This was incredible. Its dark and edgy undertone helped the film so much, and it was really fun to watch. I definitely recommend it for Batman and superhero fans!
The best Batman film of them all - feels like a comic come to life and treats Gotham like a character
Gorgeously crafted noir movie making magic with a badass dark and highly influential remaining of Batman. Michael Kearon and Jack Nicholson kill it as Batman and Joker, as well as their reasonably grounded normal alter egos. Vicki Valerie is interesting in the first half of the movie, until she is unfortunately relegated to just screaming like a banshee as a damsel in distress without much agency for the second half. It's also kind of off-putting seeing Batman casually murder henchman and the Joker for revenge even though every other depiction shows him chastising others for attempting to do the very same thing. But it's still an amazing aging comic book movie game changer with an awesome soundtrack by Danny Elfman and art direction by Tim Burton.
One Of The Best Comic Book Movies Made With Amazing Performances From Micheal Keaton And Jack Nicholson
The best Batman movie ever
Fine movie and good plot but a bit goffy (the goffy is my opinion)
it was actually a fun experience.

The movie that kicked off the Batman franchise.
Batman has everything you want in a Batman movie, with legitimate thrills, sometimes washed out with humor. And is an action packed crime/Adventure film that set the standard for the fallowing superhero films.
even though the second film is a more authorial film, nothing to take away from this one, iconic and fun
The best Batman ever.
best Batman presentation film in history with the most faithful Joker in comics!
Direção: Bom Atuação: Ok Roteiro: Bom Caracterização: Bom Soundtrack: Bom
Atmospheric but has not aged well in terms of effects or the script.
