Alice in Wonderland Reviews
Perfection. No notes.
It feels like a weird dream you had pn a hot day after eating too much. I love it.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
With a wacky, episodic plot, Alice in Wonderland is a trippy yet mega-fun trip down memory lane. I watched it for the first time in September and it brought out the inner child in me. Anyone of any age is bound to enjoy it, especially young kids, or teens like me who just miss when life was as enjoyable as this movie. If you haven't watched it yet I highly recommend for the whole family!
Alice in wonderland 1951 is amazing Disney animated movie and my rating is a 10/10
Alice In Wonderland (1951) is Disney’s most brilliant creation, by far. Its whimsy and charm pull you into a world of dreams and fantasy that you hope will never end. The alluring, vibrant colours add to the exciting thrill of the film, where every scene brings on a new adventure. Both in childhood and in adulthood, this film has captured my heart, completely.
Full of absurdities and nonsense, Alice in Wonderland is an intelligent and self-aware film. Though a bit "out there" at times, the movie is still entertaining and mind-bending.
Charming, quirky, funny and a bit boring at times.
The animation and creativity that went into this movie's production for the early 1950s/late 1940s was very impressive and a very ambitious project for Disney back then I'd imagine. Sterling Holloway as the cat was a good part of the movie as well as the queen's presence and delivery. While it was a lot to take in and not exactly my favorite Disney movie, it's pretty hard to really hate it. Toward the beginning one could argue and easily notice that Alice's character is pretty dumb and hard to get behind/sympathize with, however it was all a dream in the end after all! I'm glad I gave this a second try, as I hadn't seen it since I was very little.
This movie did nothing to combat my undiagnosed ADHD and I ended up browsing reddit for half of the movie.
Not trying to appeal mostly to children allowed them to craft something more faithful to Lewis Carroll.
me daba miedo de niña, todavía me da miedo
It's funny because my fav movie is the live action of alice in wonderland (Tim Burton), and this movie jsut looks unfinished and boring.
This beloved classic is the best adaptation of Lewis Carroll's beloved fantasy tale. There's a since of magic discovered with scene after scene in this picture.
A Classic Animated Adventure. The only real issue is while the pacing is solid along with the editing, it can move too fast especially in the first half. We don't get much backstory at all on Alice and this floors it after the first 5 minutes and rarely lets up. It feels like stuff can just keep happening with no rhyme or reason at lighting speed and you don't have time to soak it all up. The only real part it sort of started to lose me was the whole Oyster story which felt kind of pointless. It does start to slow down a bit in the second half and focus more on one thing which helped a lot. I really wish we would've had a bit more character to Alice as she feels very one dimensional but the supporting character more than make up for that and she is likeable enough. Everything is really well done though. This is filled with charm, catchy songs, incredible imagination, and is both dark and fun at the same time. Even though a lot of the lessons of this were over my head because I felt I didn't have enough time to absorb it. I could still appreciate how fun, creative, and charming it is. My take away from it was we do need some common sense and order and its a part of growing up. Anyone who is a fan of Animated Movies will like this a lot.
Alice in Wonderland was an amazing movie. I watched it kind of a long time ago, so it is not fresh in my mind. I have never read the Alice in Wonderland book, so I can't compare. Alice in Wonderland was a both interesting and bizarre movie. This movie is old, it is a true Disney classic. What a good movie.
My childhood favorite movie. I would always ask my parents to put it on for me. I have muliple memories of staying home from school sick when I was quite young and watching this movie while drinking soup.
Another Classic Disney movie that succeeds in its Iconisness. Beautiful animation, funny characters and a great and classic story. 7.0/10.
