Jumanji Reviews
Classic nostalgia!!!
would rate it 0 stars if it was possible. s*** stain of a movie.
this is a film that critics aren't a fan of, but most of the audience love. especially me since this is my 10th fav movie of all time. If anything the critics kinda disrespected this film. (don't take this in offense critics)
I give it a 4 star because back when it was 1995 the movie was a quite advanced. Actors tried hard to act and those animations and man-made special effects were unique.
Blah, yuck, essentially. But much redeeming value in this outing. I'm not much of a Robin Williams fan, but this is his type of role I like least (dislike most?). Special effects for special effects sake is the absolutely WORST kind of special effects, and generally make a movie, even good ones, bad. Avatar comes to mind there. In a BIG way. Not recommended. The recent ones are MUCH, much better.
A cult. A must see. Quite old but gold.
LOL!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
A classic masterpice of the departed Robin Williams.
The idea of a board game coming to life with chaotic consequences was fresh and engaging the film balances darker, suspenseful moments with family-friendly fun, making it memorable for all ages and the practical effects and creativity of the jungle-inspired chaos remain impressive for a movie on it's age.
Ok film with some story tho
O filme é extremamente divertido, os efeitos a gente releva pela época, mas o vilão é caricato.
Wonderfully directed movie with a great cast of characters. The CGI is a little dated but everything else is spot on. Each character has a well thought out arc, the dialogue is lean and punchy, the story moves along at a gripping pace and the concept is really fresh. I don't understand the lukewarm rating on RT for Jumanji. It's one of the best fantasy movies ever made. The casting was faultless.
Don't listen to the critics, they are always out of their minds. This is a family classic. Adventurous, fun, nostalgic...
Iconic yet a truly amazing one!
There just isn't anything not to like about this movie, it's great.
A childhood favorite.
8 year old and myself love it.
Underrated, would've thought the scores would be higher considering IMDb reviews and Google reviews. 8.5/10.
An excellent movie, thoughtfully written, and has always made a poignant point in it’s story.
Just a classic. Def enjoy re watching with kids
