Bedazzled Reviews
Just watched it again and loved it, lasted with the times. Lots of laughs, everyone did such a good job in portraying different characters.
Melhor comédia romantica. Excelente filme, com certza deve ter sido uma diversão teatral esse filme!
I really liked the characters and actions of the actors
This movie is great, lighthearted with a great message. Not sure why it's gotten so poorly reviewed, I've watched this movie over and over.
I just watched this film in January and it’s so good, very funny.
LOL, the funniest 01 hour: and 33 minutes ever based on the Devil possessing the soul of a victim!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Bedazzled was full of funny moments, mostly due to the incredibly cringey character of Brendan Fraser's Elliot and devilish demeanor of Elizabeth Hurley. While many of the jokes were one-dimensional and dragged longer than I would have liked, the concept itself was amusing and fun. Elliot's natural character development was well-executed and I enjoyed watching the positive changes to his self-concept rather than simply be told. The ending was pleasant and I left the film with a good experience in the rearview mirror. In the end, Bedazzled felt like an overly long episode of a quirky, yet mildly hilarious, tv sitcom.
There's not much of a point to this movie and it's really not that funny, but it's got a certain energy and is certainly worth watching even if only for Liz Hurley's wardrobe changes.
I remember there was a time when Brendan Fraser was everywhere. So much so that I rejected him as a leading man. I despised The Mummy movies (without even watching them), hated George of the Jungle (once again, without watching it), and had similar views about him as how most of the public used to have on Keanu Reeves, a goofy stoner persona. However, boredom cures everything and when nothing else was on 온라인카지노추천, I settled in to watch Bedazzled. Who could've known that I found what eventually would become one of my all-time favorite movies. Seriously, this is a charming retelling of the story of Faust that honestly holds up surprisingly well today. As a matter of fact, I could honestly see this movie getting made with today's sensibilities. So, if YOU haven't seen this movie, I HIGHLY recommend it...
Very fun and funny. The versatility and charm of the leads sell it for me.
Being a comedy film it fulfills its objective.

I watched this around the time that it came out but never rated it. I couldn't remember the movie other than the premise of selling ones soul to the devil. So first things first, it's forgettable, but it is mildly entertaining. I was prompted to watch this movie because of a meme talking about Brendan Frasers ability to play several roles within one movie. So i decided to give it anther shot. I wasn't disappointed, but I wasn't blown away either.
Bedazzled might have been the low point in Harold Ramis's career. It looks cheap and the story feels half-baked. I kept wondering what the people on the set must have been thinking as they shot these ridiculous scenes, presumably having read the script. They must have trusted Ramis enough to go through with it. Every one of the wishes the devil grants comes with a loophole or caveat, which all turned Brendan Fraser into a different character and transported him to an alternate universe. I was more interested in seeing how Fraser's schlubby character reacted to having his wishes granted, not trying to buy him as someone completely different. Though I did enjoy his dopey basketball player, parroting cliches in a courtside interview. The only thing I liked was Elizabeth Hurley prancing around in skimpy outfits.
I loved this movie and I still do! I was 12 when it came out, so there is some nostalgia. But it's pure fun. It's not slapstick, or pure stupidity, but rather snarky humor and it totally appeals to me. If you're looking for something a little more intelligent than a Will Ferrell movie, you'd probably find this humorous.
Funny, original, & romantic (containing adult content not for kids under 13 years old)!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Perfect role for B-Fray at the time. Filled with all the charming absurdity Fraser thrives at and Elizabeth Hurley in leather as a bonus. Solid piece of parody.
Today, we are stuck in a never ending loop of selfish success, attaining things quickly, and expecting things to never go wrong. Bedazzled aims to whimsically teach the importance of learning from our mistakes and helping others when we can't seem to help ourselves. The perfect movie for spiritual minds, empaths, and philosophers.
watched it once before a long long time ago. Forgot that I watched and recently researched this film now I know why I didn't remember because the film is forgettable.
