The Fast and the Furious Reviews
Great movie with great actors
The main character are Paul walker (Brian) and Vin Diesel (Toretto) they are excellent actor. Illegal street racing is the subject of the action film The Fast and the Furious. Young policeman Brian investigates truck robberies while going undercover. He becomes a member of Dominic Toretto's racing team and enters their perilous world. As he earns their trust, Brian finds it difficult to balance his obligations with his newfound pals. Dramatic action scenes, fast cars, and exciting chases are all included in the film. The characters in this simple story have a lot of chemistry with one another. It is even more exciting because of the music and ambiance. For those who enjoy action and cars, this film is fantastic. Fast and furious is a good movie, all the actor are good, there are a good atmosphère in the movie.
Absolute classic, one of the reasons im into cars, considering what happened to the franchise, its really good movie

E deixa Dom fugir. Orçamento US 38 milhões, Arrecadou US 207,3 Milhões Vale apena assistir?
This movie is very nostalgic for me. I was in middle school when it came out and absolutely loved it. Street racing, girls, cars, action, it had everything a 12 year old boy could want in a movie. The acting may not be the greatest and the movie probably didn't win any awards, but for me, it's a classic.
Gears, Guns and Girls. A hyped overrated franchise really, not sure what all the fuss is about
The Fast and the Furious drew a large crowd during the era of street racing, tricked-out cars, and a cast that effectively sold the movie. It also marked the beginning of some over-the-top car chase sequences in a story that draws comparisons to Keanu Reeves’ Point Break. Needless to say, for me, I absolutely loved this film, especially when I watched it as a kid. It was an absolute hype for young adults in the 2000s and car enthusiasts. Grading: B
A decent movie that is more concerned with having great action than a good story
Awesome movie RIP Paul Walker, man he is so iconic. I love that he and Vin Diesel bond in this movie. It felt so natural, and I loved it. It makes it so much better. The way Brian adapts to everyone, I enjoyed it and really showed the family bond and man on a binge streak of all the fast-furious. The ending was great, showing your true respect even after telling them you were the snitch, but it was all about family love. This movie got me into cars so much love all the sexy design, and damn, 100g under a car is crazy!!!!
Meh
Most of the stuff related to cars and automotive technology is wrong but the film is still corny and awesome.
I love this film it is probably the best out of all of the films.
“You can have any brew you like, as long as it's a Corona.” Possibly the most 2001 film there is, and I freaking love it. Somehow the nostalgia from seeing this at 15 in the cinema is like NOS for my opinion and rating of this film. Clearly it is a very poor man’s Point Break with cars, but if you are going to make a poor man’s version of anything then make it of a five-star masterpiece like Point Break. I had a great time! “Look at this snowman right here.” No crust, how old is Paul Walker? Is ‘tuna’ code or what? Paul Walker is a terrible actor in this (and many other films) but it kind of works alongside all the silliness. He makes Vin Diesel seem like De Niro. “You never had me. You never had your car.” Vin Diesel had early 00s cool down pat, love him as Dom with all his semi-prophetic ramblings… absolute quote machine. “Yowl. [sniff sniff]. I smell… skanks.” Michelle Rodriguez is so awesome in her lane, always a fan. I love her as Letty, even if she is always Letty (or Ana Lucia, I guess). I feel like Jordana Brewster is better in this that the subsequent films, plus 🔥 Hector!!! Noel Gugliemi is always a welcome sight. I thought I had seen lots of his films and then realised he has done well over 100, I haven’t even scratched the surface. Dare I say more Ja Rule, please 😂 That banging early 00s soundtrack, absolute time machine. ‘Pov City Anthem baby’ 🔥🔥🔥 Then Ja Rule drops in on the credits 👌 All films get a better rating from me when they needle drop a Santana track, ‘Evil Ways’ is such a classic! I concur, Brian Earl Spilner is absolutely a serial killer name. Still not sure how this film created such an insane franchise, it was all so spiritual… “For those 10 seconds or less, I'm free.”
A great first film to an overall incredible franchise. Woth it's classic early 2000s feel either great acting and a compelling fast moving story. This film is perfect for any film enthusiasts, car lovers or just big Vin Deisel fans.
Today I review Fast and Furious from 2001, the 1st chapter of the now famous saga of racing cars and firearms with Paul Walker and Vin Diesel. I saw the 1st film a few days ago and I really liked it, especially seeing Paul Walker who was a beautiful actor and considered by all the fans of the saga to be the best character in the saga but not for me and I'll tell you in the next reviews who is my favorite. Fast and Furious 1 is a wonderful film and above all it was an excellent start for this saga which will continue in 2026 with part 2 of 10 but I don't understand why they gave it a 55% it doesn't deserve this score in no way does it deserve higher scores, I'll end this review by saying that the film is indeed wonderful and that it always will be, until next time.
I really like the relationship between Toreto and Brian, everything in this film excites me, the cars, the music, the girls, chases, races, fights, it's the best film in the franchise
Fast & Furious, and it really puts the “fast” in “furious.” We’re talking about a movie that was great for its time but hasn’t aged well, especially when it comes to CGI and acting — it’s one of those movies that survives more due to nostalgia. The movie starts off promising, making the viewer think they’re in for a good police plot, with heists of DVD players. You wonder what this has to do with souped-up, customized cars. Then, we’re introduced to Brian O’Conner, played by the late Paul Walker, who, let’s be honest, isn’t one of Hollywood’s best actors. However, he gets by because he’s likable and charismatic. Although the film centers on Brian, Toretto is the one who steals the show. Somehow, he’s the king of the city, respected by all the street racers — a symbol of the “street hero,” and everyone wants to be like him because he’s the fastest. Over the top? Yes, but it works in this movie. The bond between Brian and Toretto is well-crafted, and their chemistry keeps the film going from start to finish. Despite being an older movie, it hasn’t aged well, especially in terms of CGI. The exaggerated turbo scenes, with those clumsy effects trying to give us a sense of speed, almost make us believe the car is going to break the sound barrier. Visually, it’s ugly, which we can overlook due to the film’s age, but it’s still a noticeable flaw. Fast & Furious is a good movie to reminisce about. Nostalgia makes us see amazing things in it that aren’t always really there. Watching this film instantly takes you back to the 2000s, from the hair and clothes to the cars, which greatly influenced pop culture at the time. Neon became a trend, and everyone wanted a customized car, preferably a Japanese one. True nostalgia is a fleeting mix of disconnected memories. Portuguese: Velozes e Furiosos, e bota “velozes” nisso. Nota: 7.4/10
what a great start to the franchise was just blown away by the cars and the acting. Paul walker and vin diesel had a bit of a messy relationship and they still do but I feel like they clicked in this movie put aside their differences to not do the right thing but get the job done. 10/10 movie I mean wow what a start
Writing this on what would be Paul's 51st birthday and I've been in the mood to rewatch all the movies in order again and let me tell you the re-watchability this movies has is crazy. after all these years I still love this movie to death. I'm 21 years old, ill be 22 later this year and the first movie came put before I was born but I still did grow up on all these movies since I was around 6 years old and that matters a lot because at the age I'm not looking at whether the stunts looked real or the actors lines were bad all I paid attention to was the story they were telling and maybe to a critic this isn't a great movie but to me, it was all I needed.
