I appreciate they used actual makeup and prosthetics instead of CGI. I am so tired of CGI.

I don't like how the apes move

Pretty bad. Poor quality acting and terrible camera angles. Cheesy science concepts and bad affects. Do not confuse with the amazing trilogy reboot made later

It’s… a movie. Not a good one but… a movie!

I’m a fan of the franchise and his one is nowhere near as bad as it’s made out to be. The problem is Mark Whalberg as always. Though the rebirth of the past few films are of a far higher quality, this isn’t a bad segue from the original series to the modern films. That blonde woman as well. Whatever happened to her? Watched on DVD.

The ending ruined the entire movie

Planet of the Apes was quite disappointing as I felt the film was cropped and did lack a few things while watching. Mark Wahlberg, Michael Clarke Duncan and Tim Roth were quite good in there roles and Tim Burton did try to keep an understanding timeline of generations. My last point is the ending it was most confusing ending I have ever seen in a film.

While the idea of the movie is quite interesting, the movie follows a very basic and generic story line without a real plot twist. It was obvious what the characters were going to do before they did it making it a bit stale. Wouldn't recommend it for adults but not a bad movie if you're having a movie night with your children

This movie is a complete waste of time. I thought it might go into "so bad it's good" territory. However, it's just bad. It's hard to believe this movie was made 33 years after the original and only 10 years prior to the far superior reboot launched in 2011.

Absolute garbage. Leave it to Marky Mark to ruin a great series.

Easy the worst Planet of the Apes movie even though with its amazing makeup and (Mostly) great cast. The movie is rather dull and has an insanely unintelligent ending

Planet of the Apes Wahlberg edition pales in comparison to the thankfully later films and a few of the older ones. The Ape people are an ode to the older films where humans were used vs the newer films where they are animals in generally animal form, however computer generated. The plot was too elementary, and watching it this time around, Wahlburg’s character didn’t fit in. The original movie had more astronauts to start with and that made it better. Watching it helps you to appreciate the later films’ improvements in plot and animation.

Estoy viendo nuevamente esta película, Para mi, hay un gran error en #PlanetOfTheApes de Tim Burton. Los caballos. Me pueden explicar si en la nave Oberon llevaban caballos ademas de los enhanced apes y Semos? Hay algo que me perdí?

It’s not a bad movie but it’s a really a good movie either, there are things I like about it like the make ups are really good, Thade is cool and I like Mark Wahlberg in this movie sort of but the story plot is kinda slow and all over the place it is trying to top the original and the fights are cool but the ending doesn’t really make sense but again it’s mid it’s not as bad as everyone says it is and I do with there a sequel to this one

Terrible remake and not one true soul in Tim Burton's shop had the balls to tell him no, just no. Damn you Tim Burton. Damn you to hell. And keep your dirty hands off the classics.
