Not a bad movie but definitely middle-of-the-road Tim Burton, this adaptation of the classic is missing the wondrous feel & the epic scope it tries to capture, but it's still a fun time with some wacky moments.

É visualmente impecável, um verdadeiro deleite aos olhos, no entanto não segue a narrativa da animação da Disney. Oque sugere que seja uma inspiração e nao uma cópia, e grande parte das críticas negativas parte do pressuposto da expectativa, é óbvio que Tim Burtton não faria algo previsível, assim como é óbvio que teriam elementos que remetem a identidade da Disney, prque afinal, é uma colaboração entre as duas partes, mas é inegável que é o um dos live actions da Disney que teve mais inventividade, não se atendo a ser só mais uma cópia da animação original.

Wonder movie didn't know why audiences score low

To quote the meme "I mean, it's alright." It overused cgi, but it is creative. It's message fights itself but it's acting is brilliant. It's alright.

I obviously love a Tim Burton movie, like anyone. I also happen to love the original 1951 Alice in Wonderland, for the colours, characters, the imagination and the magic it provides. This movie was not at all what I expected, they turned a lot of characters into lack lustre, dull characters and the whole movie just had a grim undertone which took the magic out of the story. Besides from that, there was so much CGI it was hard to immerse yourself in the movie and it almost felt a bit chaotic, or like a video game. One thing I particularly didn’t like was the constant changing of scale of characters which just threw me off. I get the idea of it, but it wasn’t executed effectively. The only good part was the Red Queen and the Mad Hatter which added the whimsy and colour the movie needed.

fun, tim burton overdid it with the amount of special effects, but nothing that ruins the experience, because the plot and characters are cool

To be honest the original story is not my favourite, but I wanted to give this film a chance. I really like Disney movies, but this was really underwhelming for me. I knew everything that is going to happen, there were no surprises and I couldn't connect with any character. The view was great but the story was boring

It's Tim Burton's show and I'm guessing that he got what he wanted out of the performances, the costumes, the art and the sets. But I'm not sure it's what the audiences wanted or expected.

I watched this movie so many times as a kid and loved it. I was scared to rewatch it as an adult thinking I would hate it, but it still holds up. It's not as great as I remembered it when I was a kid, but I still really enjoy the movie and I don't get all the negative reviews about it.

A visual treat, but still a huge disappointment.

Again nothing like the book. Visually spectacular but meandering and pointless.

This is my favourite movie. I love it.

Alice takes a backseat to Hatter Depp….that says enough.

This film is an amalgamation of Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland and Through the Looking-Glass by Lewis Carroll with a tiny bit of the 1951 Disney film thrown into the filter of Tim Burton’s direction. While I was excited to see Burton’s version of Wonderland, the movie changed so much of the characters from the source material that it was not a movie about Wonderland. So much so that they changed the name of Wonderland to Underland. This film looks terrific, from the costumes Alice wears to the CGI. I also enjoy the story arc of Alice and the new character of Bayard. The rest of the characters are reduced to delivering exposition or short gags. If you would like to see a totally unique version of Lewis Carroll’s works then check this movie out, otherwise skip it.

This movie has vary stunning visuals of course no live action re make can live up too the legacy and nostalgia of the original version of the film but this is a must see for Tim Burton fans and has amazing actors and is definitely a must see just for the visuals and the acters

L'univers de Alice au pays des merveilles me fait encore rêver aujourd'hui bien que je sois une adulte. Je trouve que les deux films sont à la hauteur de ce monument de la littérature.

É um filme peculiar, é intrigante Porém sinto que foge um pouco da história, acredito que o filme não foi inspirado no desenho, é não sinto que o no filme o mundo é mas "louco" , no filme o mundo parece ser mas esquisito sem aquele tom de " mundo paralelo" os personagens parecem ser mas tristes.
